She collapsed back on his bed throwing an arm over her forehead staring at the canopy that draped over the bed, and found she had difficulty focusing on one spot. “shit.”

Jason saw the same brunette from the stairs, watching Lucas closely as he disappeared into his study. His eyes narrowed in suspicion. He should have taken a closer look at her earlier. She was either a fortune-seeking female or by the eagerness on her face, a reporter. He would tell Lucas about her.
