The investigation into Flora's car accident had run into trouble. Even though I had repeatedly emphasized to the police that this case should have been taken seriously, with the available evidence, the murderer still couldn't be found.

Although I had already determined that Abbi Miller did it, there was no way to convict her. I even thought about prosecuting her for fraud and putting her in jail.

However, compared to attempted murder, this crime was too light. Flora would be very sad when she found out. I didn't want to embarrass Flora anymore. So, I had to send someone to investigate the matter secretly.

But, I had come to understand that continuing to keep her beside me would only suffocate her. I fell in love with her completely, so I was willing to sacrifice my
