“Luna! Richard,” he calls out as he runs to my side. “Luna! Are you okay? What happened,” asks Richard. “I think I must’ve slipped. I fell and hit my stomach on the stairs and rolled down to the landing. I can’t feel them move,” I begin to cry. Derek I am really excited for today. I have a huge fireworks display planned that’ll go off at midnight tonight. This will be the best New Years Eve the girls have ever had. Lately Davina has been complaining of Braxton Hicks contractions. Dr. Ase checked her out yesterday and he said everything is fine. She is sleeping while I’m hanging out with the twins. Derek I can’t believe how big my family has gotten in the last year. My mate is amazing giving birth to twins twice. Accalia and Thierry are beautiful. I catch myself tearing up. They both have beautiful blue eyes and hope that sticks. Thierry has my hair color that I got from my father. My mate chose the perfect name for our son. From what Tanisha told me, for being premature, they are pretty healthy. They may have to stay in the NICU for a few weeks but I’ll see if I can get around that and hire some nurses that I know are wolves to come to the estate so the babies can be home. Dr. Ase and Tanisha take the twins and I carry Davina to the ambulance. Mark grabs my keys and follows behind us while some wolves drive ahead. I am concerned there will be another attack on the way to the estate. I am glad I installed the elevator. It’ll make getting the twins upstairs easier. We make it back to the estate without an issue. DavinaIt’s been about a month since the attack at the hospital and the twins are getting bigger. Dr. Ase believes they won’t need to be in the incubators much longer. Neither of the girls have returned to public school for safety reasons. We were just going to have Malayah stay home but for guard purposes it’s easier for them both to stay home. We turned the library into a classroom. Malayah is not happy with us and has been giving us the silent treatment. She only speaks to us when necessary, otherwise we don’t get anything out of her.Since we have stopped her midnight meetings with Enzo she has started to open up to Michael. He comes at least three times a week to work separately with the girls. Maliyah has gotten really good at self defense. Derek I have texted Miss Kat about our dinner plans so she can go home early. I try to finish as much paperwork as I can. Malayah has gotten so angry since putting her on house arrest. I don’t get why she is so angry. We keep having the same conversation but the results never change. Something is off. After Davina spoke with Malayah at their birthday party I thought things would get better. I’ll need to run some ideas off of Dimitri. I know something is wrong here. I decide to call Dimitri now before it gets late. “Hello Derek. How can I help you.” “Dimitri is it possible for someone to put a spell on another to make them angry or uncooperative? Like manipulate them from afar?” “That’s dark magic but yes it is possible. You plant an idea in their head and then the magic does the rest to make that feeling come to life and spread like fire. Thank you for pushing through and finishing book 1. Please let me know what you think! Book 2, Family Secrets is where I will publish any and all sequels. I am in the process of changing the title name to just The Silver Dragon Series. I plan for there to be a total of 6 books. Books 1, which you just read, through 3 will be Davina and Derek's journey to defeat those after her so she can live in peace. Book 4 will follow her daughter Maliyah, Book 5 will follow her twins and book 6 will follow her last child. Please let me know what y'all think of the story and show your support with those gems. Derek As soon as we touch down on the runway we both unbuckle our seat belts and rush out the door as soon as it’s opened. There are two cars waiting for as I instructed. One to wait for our luggage and another to immediately take us home. I order my wolf to speed home. Davina hasn’t spoken a word since we left. I can tell she has been trying to communicate with Malayah with no luck. I have been practicing using my telepathy as well but haven’t been able to get through either. “Don’t panic love. Just calmly swim back to the boat.” I go to turn around are there are some blacktip reef sharks between us and the boat.“Derek?”“It’s okay, they won’t bother you. Plus you are a dragon that controls water. Just move them with your water powers.” I concentrate and make a water current that pushes the sharks further away so I can swim to the boat. I turn and I see the hammerhead next to Derek. Derek is remaining as still as possible but he needs air. I use my water powers to push the hammerhead away from Derek but the sharks tail hits Derek in the head causing his snorkeling gear to get knocked of this head.
