Faith had never had a stranger send her home before. Her heart pounded, and she felt inexplicably nervous.

But Miles was a police officer, after all. He should've been righteous and honorable, so she must be overthinking.

"I live in Goldstein Park. Thanks for the ride, Mr. Chadwick."

"It's my honor to escort Lucy's friend home. Let's go."

They left the hospital promptly and got in Miles' car. Throughout the journey, he occasionally stole glances at Faith as he drove.

Sensing his gaze, Faith felt nervous.

"Mr. Chadwick, why do you keep staring at me? I haven't done anything illegal!"

Having a very attractive police officer staring at her did make her nervous. But as a law-abiding citizen, she feared and respected the police more.

Miles flashed a warm smile at her. "Don't be nervous. I'm just curious about your tracking system. It's really impressive. Have you thought about joining a research institute to contribute such a great product to the country?"
