Chapter 327

Tobias had worked for two days and nights straight. It just so happened that he had got all his jobs done when Lucy came home. She put down all of her suitcases and got washed up. Then, she eagerly gave Tobias a call.

What Lucy didn't know was that Tobias had just boarded the airplane, and his cell phone had no signal. So, the call didn't get through. She listened to the mechanical recorded voice and couldn't help but feel disappointed.

Lucy lay on her bed and murmured, "I'm home, Tobias. Why aren't you picking up your phone? Are you busy with work again?"

Lucy felt heartbroken that Tobias had such a difficult time at work, and felt regretful as well. She held the pregnancy test result in her hand and tossed and turned in bed. Not long after, she felt exhausted and yawned before falling asleep.
