Lucy glared at him. She would've kicked Billy if her feet weren't covered in silver needles. After all, Billy did have the capabilities to remove someone's tongue in under a minute. She wouldn't just let him harm Tobias!

Tobias hesitated for a moment and said, "You say he's Nightshadow. Do you have proof for that?"

He was a prestigious figure. Anyone who laid eyes on him would've been struck with fear. However, Billy looked rather cocky. Not only was he not afraid of Tobias, but he'd even threatened him.

What if Billy truly was Nightshadow?

Billy was about to say something when Lucy grimaced. "What's wrong?"

Tobias saw the anguish on her face and asked in a worried tone, "Are you feeling okay?"

"It hurts so much, darling."

Billy saw it and came over to check on Lucy, too. He had just gotten close to her when Tobias grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the floor.

Tobias snarled coldly, "How could Nightshadow be this young? You'd better hope that nothing happens to Lucy.
