Tisha

I am on my way to see my father. He wants to go over details about my party... how I am supposed to present myself and behave so that I do not embarrass or shame him. Every year, it is the same discussion... or warning, I guess you could say. Since I am my father's legitimate child, I am well taken care of and spoiled to an extent. However, I am still his daughter and not the son he desires. He plays the role of an adoring father, but many know he has illegitimate children that he neglects. If he were to have a son, legitimacy wouldn't matter. Males can have it all.

I am looking forward to my party, though. Every year, my father hosts an extravagant event to celebrate me. Even though I know he isn't doing it because he loves me and wants to give me the best, I still pretend he does. In reality, his act is for social purposes only. Reminds everyone else of how important and rich he is. My father is a very vain and selfish man. Nothing he does for anyone else comes without some so

Tisha"Let's start this day with some birthday shots!" Of course, I don't actually plan on drinking any, and neither is Cassidy. I brought it because the thought occurred to me that some of my friends might search for me here. While they are my friends, I don't trust them with a secret as dire as Cassidy and I leaving the pack. My father is very feared, and I am not so close to any of them that I believe they wouldn't sell me out."Hell yeah!" Leah exclaims. We crawl through the opening, and there are several classmates ready to pre-party with me. It has become somewhat of a tradition. Any other year, I would love to see so many wolves out here, but now I am worrying if two bottles will be enough."Who is the new girl?" A classmate named Hayden asks.I roll my eyes and act annoyed. "She is nobody. Do not pay her any mind. My father sent her here to spy on me. He wants to make sure I don't embarrass him," I lie. "She isn't even our age. He told her to dress like that so she'd blend in.

CassidyWe have made it to Wolvesbane territory. I can't believe I am finally home! I have been away for almost ten years now, and I am so anxious to see my parents. It is so surreal being back here. I am wondering how much has changed around here when my thoughts are interrupted by the approaching Alpha. Jezebel is with him. She is staring at Tisha with curious, distrusting eyes. "Alpha," I start to say before he cuts me off."Cassidy," he says in shock. "Is it really you?" Jezebel whips her gaze away from Tisha to me.I can't help but chuckle at the astonished expressions on their faces. "Yes," I reply. "It is me... in the flesh. I thought you might not remember me.""How could I forget?" He asks quietly. "Your mother and father will be so happy you're back!" He pulls out his cell phone, as if about to call one of them."Please don't call them yet," I beg. "I don't want our first meeting after all these years to happen with us looking this wrecked," I explain. "We could use a shower

JonAfter I got the call about possible intruders, Jezebel and I left the house to check it out. When we arrive, we get out and walk towards the gate after I park the car. One of my guys meets us midway to inform me that two women were seen walking toward our walls, and some of my men met them at the gates. When asked why they came here, one of them spoke and said they wanted to see me. Apparently, the woman made it sound like I'd want to see her. I am curious about who it could be. The only woman I can think of wanting to see is my mother. Perhaps it's one of my sisters. My heart races as I begin to wonder if something is wrong with one of them. As we approach closer, we see two filthy women, barefoot and in tattered clothing. There is something faintly familiar about the one with dirty blonde hair, but I can't quite figure out what. She starts to speak, but I can't hear a word she says right now. Too many thoughts are swirling around in my head. Her voice..."Cassidy?" I ask. Could

JezebelWhen we get home, I barge upstairs, desperate to be alone to try and clear my head. "What a shit ending to the perfect day! Jon and I had such a great day together... free of drama... free of bullshit... and now this," I vent to Jade."I agree this night didn't end ideally, but I think you are overreacting a bit," Jade replies."Seriously?! How can you even say that? You know what Tisha did, Jade." I sort through my clothes and find Cassidy and Tisha each a pair of socks, a t shirt, and some sweat pants. I stack them on the bed and go to the bathroom to grab some extra hygiene products."Yes," she sighs. "I remember it all quite clearly, actually. But I don't know. I just don't feel threatened by her anymore, Jez. Something is different. I think we need to talk to her."I set the hygiene products on top of the clothes and sit down on the edge of the bed."Are you fucking insane?" I shout... out loud. Jon comes in and gives me an apologetic look. He sees that I have everythin

CassidyI am overwhelmed with emotions when I see my parents again. It has been so long, but they haven't changed a bit. My mother hugs me, and I know the hug instigates a few visions for her. She pulls away, and I can see tears falling from her eyes. I have been through a lot, and I don't know how much of it she has just seen. "Oh, Cassidy," she whispers. "My poor baby." Her sympathy makes me cry, too. I didn't want her to see what that piece of shit Alpha did to me. I wish I could just forget it ever happened, but the memory will be forever burned into my brain. How could anyone forget something like that? My father is quiet, and looking at me as if he can't believe it's really me. I walk over to him and lean in for a cuddle. I was always a daddy's girl, and his arms continue to provide a safe place. I actually do forget everything that has happened for a few moments. My father's heart is going to break into a million pieces when he hears everything that's happened. Maybe he will

  • The She Alpha Prophecy   Rage, Rage, and More Rage

TheodoreTonight is a big night. It is Tisha's 18th birthday. She is officially a woman now. I had high hopes for Tisha. She is my legitimate daughter, which earns her an amount of my affection. She always seemed to have a good head on her shoulders. She is fierce and unapologetic, qualities I despise in a woman but actually admire in her. She is my daughter, and while I am not extremely sentimental over the fact, one can't deny that she inherited much from me. The Redwood pack is currently allies of the Silverhair pack. There is a war, and many packs are against one another, but some of us recognize the benefits of being allied with each other. Our packs have always been friendly. Several of our wolves have been mated with each other as well. I had hoped that Tisha's mate would be part of the Redwood pack. There is tension between our packs lately, and I'm not exactly sure why. I had hoped that if Tisha became mated to someone in the pack, we could work out whatever differences we ha

JezebelTisha wants to talk. I am nervous, but I do have a lot I want to say. We go outside so we can talk more privately. After closing the back door, I sit down on a patio chair. Tisha follows suit. Five minutes of silence pass, aside from the sounds of us breathing and fidgeting in our chairs."Alright. Enough of this," I say irritably. "What do you have to say, Tisha?""I'm sorry, Jezebel," she replies quietly."I bet you are, Tisha... I bet you are," I retort back sarcastically. Tisha stands up and paces back and forth. Tears threaten to spill from her eyes, but I feel no sympathy for her."Jezebel... you have NO idea how difficult these last few years have been," she finally chokes out.I snort. I have no idea? How amusing."Well, then why don't you enlighten me, Tisha," I snarl. She looks at me with a sad look that quickly turns to anger."Fuck you, Jezebel. I don't know why I am wasting my time. You are going to believe what you want to anyway." She heads for the door."Oh, y

Women are only good for one thing, and I don't need to be married or mated to get it. Why the fuck is he proposing an arranged marriage anyway?""I think he has noticed our absence," I reply. "We are supposed to be allies, but I am doubting the benefit of being allied with the Silverhair pack. Tonight will help me make my final decision. If he reveals something about the girl that he has been keeping hidden, then I may continue to work with him.""Why, father?" Deacon asks disgustingly. "He is a joke. He is trash. We don't need him. Cassius AKA Caz My twin brother and I just turned 22. As soon as we turned 19, Tristan found his mate, Trinity Henley, the alphas' daughter. I'm still waiting, but I'm not in a hurry. I like my solitude. I love to read and expand my knowledge. My brother is always teasing me about being a book nerd, but our moms love it. They get excited to buy me new books. I'll read anything, but my favorite books are full of mystery, action, and adventure. I love my moms, but they each have a favorite. I was named after our mother, Cassidy, and Tristan was named after our mother, Tisha. Tristan had his first vision when we were 16. Our mother Cassidy is a Prophecy Wolf, and the gift is passed to one child in each generation. Tristan is younger by two minutes. They bond over their gifts, and hence, he is her favorite. Our mother, Tisha, favors me. She calls us the normies. But I'm not a normie. Im just pretending. I see every vision Tristan sees, I just never go into a trance like state. I al

  • The She Alpha Prophecy   Happy Endings

Jezebel Now that all the work is done, it's time for fun. We're celebrating all across the pack with tables of food set up on every corner. Cornhole tournaments. Euchre tournaments. Some of the guys have been playing basketball. There is a lot to enjoy, no matter which part of the pack you venture to. I can't recall a time in my life when I have ever experienced a celebration as magnificent as this! Even a lot of our allies are here. The packs can mingle again, and Uncle Jedd finally found his mate! Her husband died in battle six years ago. She came from the Redwood pack. We sent him to handle some pack business with our new ally, and she happened to be in the vicinity. Her name is Abigail. She moved in with Uncle Jedd right away. They got a bigger and nicer house. She brought her daughter, Evie. She is 22. And her son, Gavin, who is 14. Jon also gets to be reunited with his mom and his siblings. "Oh, she's gorgeous, hunny," Loretta says to Jon after he introduces me. "It's nice t

JezebelI drive as fast as I can toward the entrance of the pack. I can not believe the war has started."Jade?" Silence."Jade!" I cry out nervously, tears cascading down my cheeks. "Please, answer me."Silence."JADE!" I scream. And still... silence. The scream helped alleviate some of the frustration, but I'm still fucking terrified. I'm getting close to the gate. I can see the battle up ahead. I don't know what to do. There are so many wolves a few hundred yards in front of me. Jon is right. In my human form, I am weak. Jade is the real Alpha, not me. Without her, there is nothing I can do. "Jade! What about the vision? Jon does not fight this war alone, Jade. Where the fuck are you?" I growl. The silence is deafening. Maybe this isn't the only battle. Maybe this isn't our time. I decide it's probably best to just turn around and seek refuge with the rest of the innocents like Jon wanted. Before I can put the car in reverse, the passenger door swings open, and someone takes a sea

Spencer"What do you mean they escaped?" I growl.Three of my guards cower in fear before me. The block of cells they were guarding was attacked. Lights cut out. Injections of a sedative given. The fact that Marc and Hazel were discovered in the cell where my prophecy wolves were supposed to be tells me all I need to know. Bonnie and Clyde were plotting to steal one or both of them. The Gods only know where they planned to go because there aren't many options available to them. Going rogue is all they could have done. Stupid. Kids these days just don't have any fucking common sense. And where in the fuck did he get the sedatives? He tried a trick from my book. I bet the security cameras caught them in the act of some things. He must have stolen the sedatives from me. Heathen!"We failed you, Alpha. Punish us as you wish," a cracked voice whimpers, bringing me back to the guards. They all stand there with their heads hung low. They look so pathetic. "Because I need your permission fir

  • The She Alpha Prophecy   The Time is Near

JezebelIt's been almost two weeks since Cassidy and Shirley returned home. Cassidy has been in a coma ever since. She passed out as soon as they stepped through the gates. Everyone is worried. Tisha and Shirley have hardly left her side. The rest of us have been busy. The war is near. We can all feel it in the air. After Marc and Hazel's betrayal and the Redwood pack losing their precious captives, we know we don't have much time. We don't know how much our enemy knows about our pack or the locations of Marc's tunnels. Jon comes up behind me and rubs my shoulders."Stop thinking so much," he lectures. "We have most of the tunnels caved in and traps in the others. It isn't going to be easy for them to get through. We're a fortress," he smirks proudly."It's happening," I reply seriously. "We might win, but it isn't a sure thing. I just wish Cassidy would wake up. Or that we were successful in finding that witch Shirley said helped them escape.""She is tied to the God's somehow. • The She Alpha Prophecy   It's Time to Go

Cassidy"I can't believe my mother refused to come with us. I doubt they are going to be very welcoming toward her once we are gone," a voice whispers."Now isn't the time to be crying for mommy. We can't fuck around. We have to be quick if we are going to make it out of here in time," another voice huffs quietly.I can see two silhouettes, but the room is dark, so I can't quite make out who they are, although I have an idea. "Give me the syringe if you aren't going to do anything but whine.""What crawled up your ass and died? You don't have to be such a bitch!" My eyes are adjusting, but I can't see well. Why in the hell is it so dark? "Which one is Cassidy?" One of the voices hisses."Hell, if I know. Great idea cutting the lights.""If I hadn't, then the guard wouldn't have been as easy to take out. Here."One hands something to the other. I hear a scratching sound and then smell sulfur as a match is lit. The match confirms my suspicion that the two intruders are Marc and Hazel

Cassidy"Who are you?" I yell through the bars of our cell door. The girl snickers but doesn't reply."Answer me! What did that dream mean? Why are you here? WHO ARE YOU?" I'm pissed. I don't like mind games."QUIET!" A guard shouts. "Otherwise, you can take a trip to the pit."I have no idea what the pit is, but judging by his sneer, I doubt I want to know. I climb to the top bunk and lie down, huffing. I miss Tisha so much right now. I'm sure she is so worried. I hope she's okay. Wolvesbane pack isn't where she came from, but it has to be where she belongs. I hope Jon and Jezebel recognize that. I hope she's safe. I roll over and face the wall so that my mother can't see the tears slipping down my cheeks. After a few minutes, I hear her get settled on the bottom bunk. Not long after, I drift off to sleep. I dream of the girl and the cup game again. Everything plays out the exact same way. I wake up gasping for breath after choking on the ball again. I sit up in bed and start to scr

  • The She Alpha Prophecy   Once an Advantage, Now a Disadvantage

JonJezebel and I rush to meet Lance at the other tunnel entrance discovered in the woods. Jedd and Tisha are on their way as well. Their tunnel didn't lead anywhere interesting. It forked off. Each fork led to different spots in the town. Someone had to have helped this kid! If not, he was highly determined and must have started working on them at like the age of ten to have dug as much as he did. My mind is seriously blown at his accomplishment. "How long since they went through?" Jezebel asks, as we approach Lance."About twenty minutes," he responds.Jedd and Tisha arrived just before us. I take a deep breath and help Lance pull the rock door. I rush inside before Tisha can, so that it is me leading this time. We cautiously make our way forward. Our footsteps echo in the eerie silence. Knowing that Shirley and Cassidy were just taken through this tunnel has us all more anxious to secure them than before. It's like when something is right there at your fingertips, but you haven't b

When I first discovered the app, I read books from it. I was intrigued by writing my own book, but I wasn't confident I could do it. After writing over thirty chapters, I felt good about the book I was creating. I struggle with Bipolar and OCD. I am a full-time student and stay-at-home mom. My children are homeschooling. I have a lot on my plate and probably shouldn't have added more. These past two years have been rough, and I have really struggled mentally. Of course, I haven't done well setting aside time to write... Everything has been incredibly overwhelming. I appreciate that people discovered my book and love it. I apologize that I haven't kept up with chapters well enough to keep y'all satisfied. The mean comments have turned this book into a burden that sometimes I feel like I will never get finished. But I am persevering, and for anyone still reading... thank you, and I truly am sorry. My family just made a big move from Indiana to Texas. Once we are settled, I have high hop
