Chapter One Hundred-Forty Eight

Roth returned home after having dropped Eleanor to her house after the radio show. The mansion felt especially empty without neither her nor Tristan in there. He took a deep breath as he sipped on the orange juice in the kitchen.

He would have to get used to living like that. As he sat on the stool next to the kitchen island, he pondered over what Eleanor had said to him earlier in the studio and a somber smile spreaded out on his face.

He had laughed in her face then when she had suggested that, and she got embarrassed and they had changed the topic entirely. Roth was not the most self-aware person on the planet, but if he knew the first thing about himself, it was that he was not a long-term relationship person.

He assumed the reason sex wasn’t as appealing to him as earlier was because he needed to spice up his game. His eyes twinkled with an idea as he picked up his phone to call Ivanka again.
