Door#178 "The Holy Land"

Joshua is sitting on a chair, underneath the light above his head. Tonight he is the captive, but he wasn’t tied with anything; as if the captor believes that a clever man like Joshua won’t never think of running away because the percentage of his escape will be less than 50%.

He guessed the right thing.

Showing no signs of anxiousness, he looked around the place where he was brought.

He’s inside a deserted church. The altar, tables and chairs had long been removed. Only the holy statue remained — Christ’s face, covered with dust, revealed an extraordinary quality of steadfast perseverance, and the old piano at the corner of of the hall.

“He chose an odd place,” Joshua murmured after checking his surroundings. He did not exactly know where is the location of this, but was perplexed to his captor’s weird way of choosing the location.
