Door#164 "Curse to Heaven"

Every time the young Jill saw her uncle Vret, she could not describe the happiness she feels. For her, he is the only brother of her mother, and she thought it is okay to love him as much as she loves Freea. However, the child’s love isn’t enough for Vret to cure his darkened heart.

“Uncle!” Jill called then held Vret’s hand.

Vret looked downward with his sharp gaze, sending cold stare at his niece. Frightened at the intensity in his eyes, Jill let go of his hand and stepped back while bowing her head.

“I’m s-sorry,” she stuttered while in the verge of crying.

Vret clicked his tongue, “Tsssk.” Then he stepped away as if he wasted seconds of his time at the most insignificance person in his life.

The little Jill pathetically stood at her place while her shoulders trembled. She was biting her lower lip so hard in order to stop herself from crying.
