"My love welcome home" CEO Monroe greeted his beloved wife walking towards the trio. Madam Monroe slowly let go of the twins and embraced her husband. "I am home dear" she said giving CEO Monroe a kiss on the lips. 

Alec looked at her grandmother as she tried to recall her storyline. The mother of the ML and SML was said to be kind and gentle. She was born into a impoverish couple her father worked as a construction worker and her mother a housewife. Even if they were poor they treasured there daughter and encouraged her to study. 

She worked as a secretary at Monroe Congolomerate when she met CEO Monroe. They fell in love and against all odds they married and had two children. 

As Madam Monroe she stayed at home and looked after the children that is were she discovered her love for making jewelry. She started a small jewelry line that boomed and now her brand  was known world wide. Sadly she died later on in the novel from a plane crash. 

Lilian felt sad and distressed as she also remembered that because of Madam Monroe's death  the rift between the Monroe father and sons widen until they became estranged. She had to prevent it she vowed. 

"Dear what happened in the 3 days I was gone?" Madam Monroe asked her husband. "I was shocked as you are my love but it seemed we are grandparents" CEO Monroe happily replied "Why don't you ask Alphonse when he gets home?" he added trying to dodge a bullet. 

Madam Monroe smiled and starred at her husband. CEO Monroe felt himself sweating at the intense stare of his wife. 

"My love you came home just in time, me and the twins are going shopping" he annouced changing the topic. 

"Kids why don't you go get ready with Auntie Mai and after we will go to the mall" CEO Monroe instructed slowly letting go of his wife and ushering the kids to Auntie Mai. 

The twins obediently followed Auntie Mai leaving CEO Monroe and his wife. 

"My love apparently we have grandkids" he explained to his wife as he guided her to the first seat on the right sid

"Where did they come from? from there appearance they are 4 to 5 years old?" She asked him "From what i gathered their mother was Yui Sato the second miss of the Sato Family apparently she died days after giving birth to the twins. They were taken in by Yui Sato's nanny until afew weeks ago when she was diagnose with cancer. She took them to the Sato family to be taken care off but they were taken to be sold by Madam Sato..." his heartache as he imagined what could have happened if they end up being sold. 

The Monroe patriach felt his blood boiled when he heard from his secretary last night about the intial investigation on the twins. 

"The second daughter of the Sato family didn't she go to school with the boys?" Madam Sato tried to remember the face of the girl. "How sad she was taken so young and how could Madam Sato do such a thing they are just little children" 

"Don't worry they are here with us from now on they have the Monroe Family behind them." he stated reassuring his wife. 

"Why don't you eat something my love? We have a long day ahead of us" CEO Monroe held his chopstick and started to put food on his wife's plate. 

An hour passed and they heard a small knock followed by little footstep entering the dinning hall. 

"Grandpa, Grandma we are ready" the twins stated each wearing a matching outfits. Lilian wore a white collared white and blue stripe dress while Alec wore a white and blue shirt with blue shorts. 

"Oh! you guys look adorable" Madam Monroe commented walking towards them while getting her phone from her pocket. She began to take pictures of the twins. 

"Secretary George has good taste" CEO Monroe commented standing up too and walking towards the twins. 

"Is everything ready?" He asked Manuel "Yes Master the car is waiting outside" he answered.

"Let's go then" 

The patriach and his wife took the twins to a mall owned by Monroe Family in the center of the city. When they arrived the general manager of the mall greeted them. They were escorted to the children's section in the third floor. 

"Sir Madam if you want we can bring the stuff to the lounge so you don't have to walk around" the general manager suggested as they entered the department store. 

"No I think the kids would appreciate it more if we looked around" Madam Monroe explained observing her grandchildren beaming with happiness as they toured the mall. 

When they stop at the children wear CEO Bai couldn't help his excitement. He took Lilian and Alec hands leading them first to the children clothes section. He then walked around and started picking outfits after outfits for Lilian and Alec.

 "What about this one?" He showed Lilian a pretty floral dress. "No grandpa I don't want that one. what about this one?" she pointed at the jean jumper dress. "Why don't we get them both" Madam Monroe commented as she showed Lilian outfits that she also picked out. Then they looked if there were matching clothes for Alec. 

CEO Monroe got the jumper dress & the floral dress and handed it to the two assistant shopper behind them. The two assistant shopper was now carrying two baskets each. They were filled with dresses, short, skirts, pants, pajama's, underwear, and socks. 

After the clothing section they went to the shoe section and two additional assistant shoppers appeared. At the end each assistant shopper carried two baskets each. 

The next place they visited were the toy section. Lilian looked around the toy section and felt herself conflicted. To the outside world she was 5 years old and but her mental age was 13 years old. It would worry her grandparents if she wouldn't pick anything but she knew she wasn't interested in dolls and such. 

She walked around as her grandmother followed her offering her dolls, plastic kitchen toys, wooded kitchen toys, tea sets and such. After walking around she settled to just picking a stuff turtle and a few puzzle boxes which surprised her grandma. 

"Sweetheart are you sure that is the only thing you want? what about those pretty dolls that grandma showed you?" Madam Monroe asked. 

"Don't worry grandma this is the only thing i want" she smiled and gave the shopping assistant the items. 

Meanwhile Alec walked around the toy store with CEO Monroe as he looked at his sister's items. He followed suit and just got some blocks and a stuff turtle too. 

When CEO Monroe looked at the items his grandchildren got he felt conflicted. "Alec and Lilian get some more toys don't worry grandpa will buy them for you" He explained bending down and looking at the two. 

"Don't worry grandpa this is all that i want" Lilian said with Alec nodding in agreement. "Are you sure you don't want this pretty dolls Lilian or what about this robots Alec?" There grandma also bend down showing them the toys in her hand. 

"I don't really like dolls grandma but I think Alec would love that toy robot" Lilian explained recalling how Alec  watched enviously at the neighbouring kids as they played robot near there apartment before. 

"No Big sis I am fine, sister only picked 4 toys I should only choose 4 toys aswell" Alec firmly explained and Alec couldn't help but smile at how sweet her brother was. 

She walked towards the counter and saw some fairy tale books and picked one. "Then I will get this and you get the robot them. So each of us will get 5 toys each" she commented 

CEO Monroe and Madam Monroe shared a glance. They smiled as they watched the twins. They had such a loving relationship. 

After the toy section the grandparents went to furniture section. Holding on to there stuffed turtle Alec held on to CEO monroe's hand while Lilian held on to Madam Monroe's. 

They looked around for furniture for the kid's bedrooms. 

"I think this one for Lilian bedroom" CEO Monroe said pointing at the 4 poster princess bed. Lilian eyes widen as she looked at the big 4 poster princess bed. "Grandpa a normal bed would be fine" she stated pointing at the simple wooden framed bed besides it. 

"Don't worry Lilian grandpa will take care of everything" CEO Monroe said ignoring her statement while patting her head. He continued to point and purchase the matching covers, pillows, side tables, and such. 

Behind him Madam Monroe was smiling, She knew she was blessed that she married such a kind man. If a stranger looked at CEO Monroe right now they wouldn't guessed he was the fierce and ruthless CEO of Monroe congolomerate. He was such a hands on father and now grandfather. 

She remembered that when she was pregnant CEO Monroe was also like this. He was with her for every part of there children's lives. Even if they had servants he was the one who assembled their cribs. He was the one who changed there diapers and at night fed them there milk. He was there for birthdays, school functions, and holidays. Now he would be there for his grandchildren too. 

After picking up the furniture they were about to go home when Alec pulled the skirt of his grandma. He shyly tugged her hand and he pointed at the small cafe. 

It was styled like a french cafe with a big display of assorted cakes and desserts. The fresh smell of coffee filled the air. 

Madam Monroe smiled as she saw the longing stare of her grandson. "Why don't we stop for some snacks dear?" She pulled CEO Monroe and the twins to the cafe. 

When they were seated at the leather booth. Lilian leaned into his grandmother and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you grandma" he whispered. Madam Monroe smiled and hugged Alec. 

"Grandpa is feeling left out here Lilian why only grandma" CEO Monroe complained. Lilian then followed suit and kiss CEO Monroe's cheek.

"Thank you grandpa grandma" she said. 

CEO Monroe and Madam Monroe smiled at there sweet grandchildren. The sweet moment was interrupted when Alec's stomach growled. "Why don't we order my poor Alec is hungry" Madam Monroe said opening the menu and signaling a waiter.
