"What do you mean I can't?" Ash asked, following Warne out of the Adom home office and into the living room.

"You know exactly what I mean. We've talked about this before," Warne sighed without looking back at Ash, as he crouched down to rifle through a box of files placed near the living room couch.

Brandishing the papers for his work permit application that he was holding like it was some sort of secret weapon he could convince Warne with, Ash replied, "But the application deadline is only two weeks away, and then I won't be able to apply until next year."

"There's nothing wrong with waiting it out and applying next year," Warne replied patiently, but frankly, Ash was in no mood for patience, so he frowned, "But why can't I just apply now?"

Standing up with a file in his hand, Warne finally looked at him, "I really don't want to have this conversation with you again. I already told you that you should focus on your classes. Not in company"
