Twenty Four

  

I was taken to a pretty magnificent mansion by Terrence. I thought it was a secret place known only to the Terrence family. Terrence took me to the backyard of the mansion. We were also greeted by Terrence’s mom who had spruced up some beautiful red rose stalks. In the distance, I saw a lot of roses growing there. 

“You really brought the good girl here,” muttered Terrence's mom. 

I looked down in an awkward position. 

“Didn’t I have an appointment, Mom? And look at her coming here too, but she’s scowling because of me,” Terrence said. 

“What’s wrong?” asked Terrence”s mom. 

“No, Mom. I was only having a problem with her, she misunderstood me,” Terrence said.
