Three

I felt better a week later. I can forget Felix even though I still remember those memories, and I’m getting better now. I woke up at 8 am this morning, as usual. Maybe the class was at the start because I woke up late. I grabbed whatever clothes were near me. Put a lot of books in my bag and a scoopy key.

Arriving at school, I still had time to chew a sandwich made by my mother while removing the helmet I was wearing. The gate was almost closed, and if I had been stuck in traffic. I might not have been able to get into the school. I saw the condition of the school was not, as usual, the situation was very crowded with students who roamed outside the classroom even though it was already 8 am.

A tap landed on my shoulder. I turned around quickly. “You?”

“You’re late again? It looks like you’ll have to buy a new alarm clock, Kate.” Nina sat in one of the motorcycle seats.

“Why did you get out of class? Hasn’t class started already?” I asked.

Nina shook her head. “Have you forgotten that this week we have to prepare a painting? Even today, the school owner’s son visits.”

Nina shows a luxury car parked in front of the school’s main lobby. I patted my forehead, feeling completely dazed today.

“So, where’s Britney?” I asked Nina.

“He went out with Jay, maybe to buy some brushes and watercolors. Oh, goddess of the moon! Why should I get such an annoying task?” Nina complained.

I forgot today Britney told me to bring a modified pencil. I exhaled in annoyance, then glanced at Nina. I saw Nina was wearing an ID around her neck.

“Were you given that ID card by the son of our school owner?” I asked confused.

“Didn’t I already say that Felix gave this ID card? She’s a student council member,” Nina replied, “You ignored him when he called you, Kate. You have to give it to Giselle. He’s not the Alpha that suits you.”

I snorted, then carried my backpack in annoyance. Slowly leaving Nina, who was still busy raving about Felix and me

Britney came with a brief run up to us. In her hand was a bag of painting equipment. She gave a drink to both of us.

“What is this?” I asked.

“It’s chocolate. By the way, have you guys decided to paint what today?” Britney rolled her eyes.

I shook my head. “I haven’t decided what to paint today. I don’t have any inspiration to paint.”

Nina chimed in on my words, “Yes, I feel that way, too. However, should we paint abstract paintings for the entire lobby?”

“The principal told us to paint some paintings that contained meaning however, he did not give us an example. Isn’t this annoying?” asked Britney later.

“Of course, Britney.” I nodded.

“Argh! Dizzying!” Nina clucked.

We immediately entered a room devoted to us. Actually, the principal wanted us to do our duty in an extra-curricular room. However, because there was an obstacle the green generation space we were used. We were shocked when we saw the state of the room was completely chaotic. The canvas was shredded, and our watercolors were splashed everywhere. A painting I made was broken.

“What the hell!” Britney growled.

Nina was in shock however, she tried to suppress her anger and smoothed out some of the canvas cloth. I don’t understand why people are so jobless and ruining our work. I was stunned for quite a while before finally choosing to pick up my out-of-shape painting. “It seems like someone intentionally did this.”

“That guy is so bad, I’m sure he has a hatred for us,” Britney said later. “It sucks so much! We have to finish it in a few weeks.”

Nina sighed, trying to be more mature. “It’s okay, we can do it again. Don’t we still have time?”

“Nina, we’ve spent a lot of time working on this and wait, it looks like we should check the CCTV footage.”

“There is a son from the school owner now. We can’t possibly complain there,” replied Nina.

Britney cupped her face. “Oh my God!”

“We’d better clean up some of these torn canvases now. Then we’ll repaint,” Nina muttered.

I’m still sitting there doing nothing. Nina tried to smile at me. As if she was telling me not to mislead anyone at this point. However, this seems so strange because I can smell the scent of another werewolf in this room.

“Ok.”

I tried to calm down and took a broom and a trash can to remove the rips of the canvas fabric. However, suddenly the wolf in my body screamed and groaned. I was surprised. I don’t know what happened, but the vibe was coming back.

“Kate, what’s wrong with you? Are you in pain?” Nina asked me.

“No, I’m just surprised.” I shook my head.

The wolf in my body shouted, “Mate, I can feel mate!”

“If you need a suppressant, I can get it from the infirmary,” Britney said later.

“I’m fine. I only think about the perpetrator who ruined our work,” I replied.

“Don't think about it constantly. We have to think about what we are going to paint,” Nina mumbled.

Britney started walking into a closet to get an apron. However, an incident really upset him. The brushes we left there are gone.

“Now, do I have to feel calm, Nina?” Britney raised one of her eyebrows.

“We should immediately report to the principal. It’s already outrageous, Nina. Those brats are taking our brushes.” I confirmed.

“There is a son of the owner. Could they have allowed in? Who will take those brushes?” Nina was still evasive.

I sighed. If you argue with Nina, you should know that she is a werewolf who really sucks if she is in trouble. She couldn’t be compromised and was so scared. Same with Britney. However, Britney is more assertive than Nina.

I scoffed. “Oh please, listen to me. This is theft.”

A heard applause made us both turn our heads quickly. A girl clapped and smiled in front of us with a painting that had been torn apart.

“Look, your trash is done, baby.”
