Fifty Three

This morning after I ate two servings of spaghetti and a glass of fresh and thick chocolate milk. I went to Miracle Academy with Terrence.  My heart beat so fast as if I was running a   marathon.

Occasionally Terrence reminds me to fill in every question carefully.  He really didn’t want to hear that I failed the class ascension exam. I sighed and promised I would do well.

After leaving me in the school lobby, I contacted Britney or Nina to know where they were at the time.  But when I just heard an annoying monotone tone from across the phone. I got a pat on my shoulder.

I turned my head and was so surprised when I saw Jay Britney’s partner.

“You surprised us all, Kate,” he said.

“What do you mean, Jay?” I asked him with a confused face, I still called my two sidekicks.
