Black Hooded Longxu

Chapter 3.

Eight years ago in Shuimiao Town.

"Since the beginning of the world, there have been five continents in it." The man explained seriously.

"Unfortunately, the existence of each continent is separated by a very long distance; ordinary people can't cross. And the ability to cross between continents belongs only to the elite." Li Tan said while looking at the little boy in front of him.

Little Li Wei, sitting transfixed to the story told by his father, Li Tan. When he was six, Li Wei was very happy to hear stories of heroism, especially about heroes like the Sages.

Li Tan continued the story. "Those are the five major continents in that world. The names are Xianjing Continent, Longwu Continent, Zhuoguo Continent, Tianming Continent, and Hengcheng Continent. The world is in a Universe called the Nebula."

And the core story of Li Tan that made little Li Wei interested was about the Sages, demigods. They are the managing experts of Mingzhu Energy – for physical combat and Nebula Energy- for performing combat actions magically.

"They are called the Sages. A demigod who can fly!" said Li Tan dramatically.

Li Wei opened his mouth, gawking in admiration. "Really? Is there such a life? A man who can fly?" he asked, incredulous.

"Of course, there is a saying." Li Tan replied to Li Wei, his son.

"Continue, Dad! Li Wei wants to hear the rest of the story!" exclaimed the little boy.

"Alright, if you are still interested. Litan Smiled and continued his story.

"The Longwu continent where we live is rich in Mingzhu Energy flow and Nebula Energy. No less powerful than other continents in this world."

"That's why. One must be strong to become the ruler, king, or greatest in Longwu Continent. Being able to cultivate Mingzhu's energy into power, it is even better if he is the manager of Nebula.

It's a pity that Nebula's energy-processing talent has become rare for now." Li Tan concluded while being noticed not blinking eyes from the son.

There are five Empires on Longwu Continent, where all lords are experts in cultivating Nebula energy.

First is the Drakonia Empire in the West, a foreign country ruled by a royal family closely related to the legendary creature, the Dragon. It is said that they are descendants of the dragon race.

Five: The Empire named Terra. In the Terra Empire, a queen is led and controls the earth element. That is why in Terra, plants are fertile, and resources are abundant. The Queen's magic influence sustains the energy in Terra, always spinning and producing abundant crops, making the people prosperous.

Li Tan lived in the Terra Empire, precisely in Shuimiao City – one of the ten provinces in Terra.

Shuimiao Town is on the shores of the Longwan Ocean – causing Shuimiao Town to become a stopover for small inter-island merchants around Longwu Continent.

Li Tan ended his story When he saw Li Wei's eyes almost closed.

"Tell me more about the legendary creatures of the sea, such as Longxu and others," Li Wei whined.

Li Tan stroked little Wei's hair. He said persuadingly, "It's getting late. Tomorrow Dad will continue the story of the legendary creature of the Longwu Ocean." Little Li Wei closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Occasionally in his sleep. Li Wei was delirious. "Dad. I will become a Sage one day." Li Tan smiled, stroked his favorite son's head, and fell asleep. Mei Ling, his wife, smiled Happily in the space. He embroidered with a Happy heart. The child and the father love each other.

Li Wei ran over with a hunting breath. He was so scared that he forgot to close the door.

"The sea creature that is half dragon is also half fish." Li Wei gasped for breath.

Longxu is a sacred creature worshipped by fishermen who come from the ocean. The figure looks like a dragon, but the body has small scales similar to fish.

"What about my fate? Will creatures eat me?"

The sound of Steps in the back direction made Li Wei sober. He still needs to close that door. And suddenly, the hooded figure emerged from the void.

At first, it was just a thin white smoke. And quickly formed a figure that had always shadowed Li Wei.

"Please. Don't eat me." Li Wei howled. But there was no one else in his house. It ran to the corner, and Longxu's figure was like the wind, always sticking to follow him.

"Go! Please." There was not the slightest thought in Li Wei that Longxu was a sacred creature that often helped fishermen.

When Li Wei was pressed in the corner, Longxu approached him, "Please... Please don't eat me. I still want to live."

And again, my meat could be better. I am a mere mortal. Not mastering Mingzhu energy as you think." Li Wei began to wail, wishing that Longxu would be pitied.

Suddenly that Longxu spoke in human language. He said, sounding annoyed. "What a fool! Are you so stupid? Never heard of the story that Longxu is man's best friend?" The hooded figure chuckled afterward. Li Wei found it funny.

Listen, stupid boy. The fishermen adore us. I'm disappointed if you think we're man-eating monsters." His voice weakened, probably because of a sword wound shot by a woman in a white robe near her death.

Li Wei looked at the blood dripping wet on the floor. "Ah, he's weak. I have nothing to fear." Instantly he became bolder.

Li Wei asked, relaxed afterward. "Then what does Mr. mean? I know you've been following me since that entertainment house. Then appeared on a deserted street and fought against two white robes. Aren't you eyeing to eat me?"

The Longwu laughed. "You are good at making jokes, little guy. This dying Longwu, almost out of breath, can't stand your innocence." The Longxu coughed.

After his cough subsided, he continued his history. "The battle on the deserted street was not the first time. All those practitioners worked together, and they ganged up on me for the sake of the Energy Pearl I had." He concluded. He noticed the change in Li Wei's face. But nothing has changed. "This stupid kid doesn't even know what an energy Pearl is. Good then!"

"Energy Pearl? I'm sorry, sir. I don't understand what you mean!" asked Li Wei honestly.

Longxu once again laughed loudly. He was very happy. "It turns out that my choice was not wrong. You are still innocent and not greedy." Coughing again. Blood came out wet on the floor.

"Master, take a rest in Li Wei's room." Li Wei said worriedly.

Longxu dismissed. He continued his talk. "Do you know? I randomly found you in that entertainment house when desperately trying to hide from the pursuit of the white-robed group's swordsmen and sorcerers."

When I saw you for the first time, I felt you were the most suitable heir of my energy Pearl. I don't want to die in vain. I also don't want my Energy Pearl to fall into the hands of greedy humans!" That Longxu once again coughed and spat out a mouthful of blood.

He stared at Li Wei fixedly. "Come here, young man. I have something to give you."

Although he didn't want to get into trouble, Li Wei was sorry for that figure. "He's going to die. It would be nice to follow the wishes of people who will soon live in this world."

"Millions of people in Longxu Continent are willing to die, just for the sake of the Energy Pearl that you found disgusting just now is a stupid boy. Remember me, When you feel the benefits of my energy Pearl!" all faded.

"What energy pearl is that? Why would I die now if it was such a powerful thing?" Li Wei was unconscious afterward.

Is Li Wei going to die, or is it to get one blessing from that Longxu?
