Chapter 29

Aurora gawked at Caspian irritatedly as the thought of her three-year marriage to him flashed through her mind.

“Why are you in that seat, Aurora?” Caspian asked again, pointing his finger at her. Aurora remained still, unmoved by Caspian's rhetorical question and his shocked expression. She continued to stare at him, deeply irritated and at a loss for words. Without hesitation, she dialed the security post line.

“I need two of you, right away!” she ordered before dropping the call. She resumed her gaze at Caspian, who was already fuming and growing impatient with her silence. He couldn't believe that the woman sitting in the seat of the overall director of the most powerful company in Montana was the ex-wife he had treated disdainfully for three years.

He moved closer to Aurora, who still refused to speak, and was about to pull out a chair to sit when the door beeped. Aurora used a remote control to glide the door open, and two giant security guards walked in, bowing to her.
