Chapter 20

With teary eyes, she handed over the divorce papers to Caspian, who took them from her and walked out of her sight, tears welling in her eyes. She decided to let go of Caspian instantly; it was high time she forgot about Caspian and whoever had made her life horrible in the past.

“He wouldn't love me if he didn't find out he was impotent. His love isn't genuine,” she muttered and walked into her room. She dropped her bag on the small table opposite the cushion, took a deep breath, and walked into the bathroom. The water was so cold as she poured it on her face and washed away her tears. She took the face towel hung on the iron hanger and wiped her face. She walked to her bed and dialed her mother's number.

“Hi, Mother," her voice sounded soft as soon as Seraphine picked up the call.

“Hi, my darling daughter, are you alright?" Seraphine asked, sensing from her voice that something was not right.

“I am good, Mum," Aurora replied, faking a smile. "I just wanted to ask for your assistance
