Eero's perspective
"A d-damn whore? I am your daughter, mom! How can you insult me like that? I know I'm never your favorite, but really, mom? Even when you caught Trevor and Serra red-handed, you'd still toss the blame on me?" Anger sparked in her eyes as she cut the distance between us within just one step. Then she taunted me with her finger. "My daughter? Do you know what I hate hearing the most? Do you know I've kept begging the Moon Goddess to be merciful, so I wouldn't hear those words anymore?"Luna Vera probably had saw the pain that crossed my eyes, because I noticed that she made a subtle nod. "Yes, those words. I hate hearing you call me mother. I hate it whenever I'm reminded that you're my daughter, because you bring nothing but disgrace to our family. You should have died that night. We shouldn't have taken care of you. If only I knew you'd always cause us trouble, I would have chosen to abandon you that day!" She said between gritted teeth. There was no trace of her snapping back to reality, even as the silence continued to loom over all of us.I came to realize that she didn't say those out of anger. She said that simply because she meant it. My mother hated me. To the deepest! Those words kept ringing in my head. They hurt so much that I had to cover my ears and shake my head hard, so that I could get rid of them out of my head and wouldn't hear them anymore. "I don't understand. Why do you hate me this much? All my life, I've been trying to please you. I'm bleeding dry to please you! Yet you hate me so much, as if I'm not your daughter!" "I hate you because-" "Vera!" Alpha Ameo's thunder-like voice roared in the dungeon. He flashed a warning look at his Luna, which made her and her wolf cower. Luna Vera took a step back as Alpha walked inside my prison cell. Disappointment surfaced in his eyes. Although he wasn't aware of what really had happened yet, I could feel that he didn't want to know why I looked like that."Alpha Claudius and his beta are on their way here from the Bloodmoon Pack," he said, and then glanced at me. I could tell that they all got the flow of the ongoing conversation immediately, with me as the only one having no idea about what was going on. "You'll make Eero look at least half decent in front of our guests, right?" Alpha Ameo turned to his wife.No one bothered to explain anything to me even when I was throwing a questioning look at them. Until my eyes clashed with those of Serra."Oh, you didn't know it yet? The cruel Alpha Claudius is coming to pick you up today." She giggled evilly. "Alpha Claudius? Who is this Alpha you're talking about? Why does he pick me up? D-Dad, what does she mean?" My eyes darted to my father as an unknown fear rose in my system."Oh my dear sister! Do you think I'm just making a bluff?" Serra hummed near by ear before turning to Alpha Ameo. "How am I supposed to explain this to her, dad? Never mind, let me just do you this favor."She continued straightforwardly before our father even said anything."I cannot believe you don't even know Alpha Claudius, Eero. He's not only Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, but the Alpha King! The Alpha of all Alphas! After coming into the throne of Blood Moon, he has been winning glory to his pack, reputed as the strongest and smartest Alpha in this region. None of these achievements would be possible without his iron-fisted and cruel ruling style. Back when our pack was at the height of our glorious days, Blood Moon was just like a speck of dust against us. But oh well..." Serra trailed off and stopped continuing, leaving me hanging in a thread of curiosity. "Things changed. We have to please him and his pack, so that he wouldn't attack and wipe us out." Now my confusion had all got cleared up."You're sending me to Alpha Claudius in order to please him?!" I turned to my father in disbelief, hoping to get a negative answer from him. "You cannot do that, dad! I'm not a slave or an omega. I am your daughter! The princess of Moon River! You cannot just send me away!" My legs gave in involuntarily. "If I had to serve an Alpha, I would rather serve you, dad!""Oh, don't worry about that, Eero. We won't send you away as a slave. Alpha Claudius is here picking you up as his breeder."Eero's perspectiveI was then taken out of the dungeon by several omegas for a bath, which I refused to have. But being held by those she-wolves, I couldn't fight back. "I didn't know you're hiding these curves underneath your horrid clothing," Luna Vera commented. For the first time, she was delighted to see me. I could even see how proud she was for how I turned out looking this fine after she made me wear this lacy white silk dress. "If you want to make me proud of you, then do this wholeheartedly, Eero. You'll make no fuss and leave with them obediently, as if you're doing this according to your will." She whispered to my ears softly, as if attempting to enchant me to buy her evil plan. Just as I was about to open my mouth and say something, a sob escaped my lips. "No-uh. I don't want to hear any more of your crying, Eero." Luna Vera pressed her forefinger against my lips quickly. "You won't be so selfish to see the cruel Alpha burn our pack down, right? Do you want Alpha Clau
Eero's perspectiveUtter shock was an understatement of the way that everyone looked at me. I bit my lower lip and didn't dare to look up to Alpha Claudius. “What's this supposed to mean, Alpha Ameo? Do you mean to insult Alpha Claudius and Blood Moon?" The man next to Alpha Claudius asked. He must be Alpha Claudius' beta and right-hand man, given his reaction and the pinned-up crest on his chest. “Beta Caspian. I-I don't know where she got those marks. But I know clearly that my daughter Eero, is still a virgin, just as I promised!” Alpha Ameo said, stuttering. Claudius, the said cruel Alpha, remained silent while his beta did all the questioning. But I could feel him staring at me, his eyes never leaving me. “Then explain the marks.” The beta sounded cold and fire-eating.“I really don't know, Beta. Those are probably insect bites she got from her patrolling duties.” My father Alpha Ameo continued to lie even when it was crystal clear that the beta in front of him would never buy
Eero's perspectiveAs the chaos escalated in the pack's great hall, Feline, in the heat of fury, attempted to hit Serra even harder after stripping her clothes off, but got stopped by Luna Vera.I jolted in my spot when I felt a hand grabbed my arm, tugging me outside the hall. “Where are you going to take me?” I asked the very same man who had handed the katana to Beta Caspian earlier. “You're leaving with us.” His tone was ice-cold.I looked at him, unsure whether I needed to fight back or not. Subconsciously, I stole a glance back at the hall, only to find Alpha Ameo and Luna Vera doing their best to protect Serra from Feline's attack. “I-I haven't even said goodbye to my family yet. If you're taking me away with you, this will be the last time I see them. J-Just please let me say goodbye to them at least,” I bargained in a calm voice. Annoyance flashed through the delta's brown eyes. He was about to drag me away to the double doors of the great hall when he let go of me all of
Eero's perspectiveDays have passed since I had that talk with the cruel Alpha, but I couldn't seem to forget about it. It was etched in my head like a curse that I couldn't run away from. "Eero." A familiar woman in her mid-forties called my name when my mind was bothered by that talk.I looked up, greeting her eyes that radiated motherly warmth. "You didn't have your breakfast, and now you're not eating your lunch either? How are you gonna recover if you cannot get any nutrition?" She asked, slightly annoyed and frustrated because I was being a pain in her ass. "I-I don't want to get better, Miss Cielo. I'd rather like my wolf to stay weak until it can no longer keep me alive. I want to die," I told her calmy, finally admitting what really was running through my mind. "Don't be silly." Miss Cielo stopped me in haste while looking behind her back, horrified that someone could hear me. "How could you say you wish to die when you're a breeder? Don't you know the honor of being an A
Eero's perspectiveHe wasn't smiling. The grim look was still up on his face, but I could feel his sincerity.Because of my mate's betrayal together with my sister and my family giving me off to the Alpha like a broodmare, I should have learned my lesson. I should never trust anyone again. Anyone who wasn't myself was not worthy of my trust and this man standing before my eyes was labeled by everyone as the cruel Alpha. But I wanted to trust him. My wolf was telling me that we could trust him, at least while I was staying here as his breeder. "How can I be certain that you will do exactly as you say, Alpha Claudius?" I asked. It was a relief that I managed to say those without stuttering or my voice breaking out of nervousness. "You have my word," he said as if those should be enough for me, but it was not. And yet, I knew that I was not entitled to ask a follow-up question to him. I grabbed the spoon from the bed and then slowly crawled to where my food was. I heard the Alpha cli
Eero's perspective I rolled to the left side of my bed. I pulled my comforter closer to my body with closed eyes. The silence that conquered my room made it possible for me to hear how heavy and noisy I breathed, and it started to bother and ultimately, annoyed me too. I sat up from my bed and my eyes jumped straight to the closed door of my room. I heaved a sigh and then my eyes stayed on the window. It's a full moon tonight. The sky was a bit cloudy for my liking, but I couldn't help but smile after I realized that those clouds looked like the moon's blanket. Not far from where I was staying was the Alpha's residence. They were going to attack and wipe out an entire pack. They must have done something wrong and irredeemable for Alpha Claudius to come up with such a decision. In the midst of musing about the Alpha of Blood Moon Pack, I heard the door to my room click open. Seconds after that, the scent of a mateless lycan whiffed my nose. “W-What are you doing here?” I asked
Eero's perspective Miss Cielo knocked on the closed door of the Alpha's room. After he had shown everyone the head of the warrior who tried to sleep with me, he dragged me into his house and straight into his room. "Here dear. Take this and use it to clean the splashes of blood off the Alpha's face," she said. I looked at the basin filled with warm water and the clean towel, and then I found myself swallowing hard. "Clean the Alpha's face? You want me to do it?" I asked her. I just needed to be sure in case my ear picked up her words in the wrong way. "Yes. Help him change his clothes too," she mumbled while eyeing a familiar door inside the Alpha's room from where we were standing. "That's his walk-in closet," she added. "Do I really have to do this myself, Miss Cielo? I saw the look in his eyes. It's filled with rage." I moved closer to her and lowered my voice even more. "I am afraid that I might do something wrong, and then the Alpha will get mad at me. What if he rip
Eero's perspective "Here. You should drink this." I glanced at the teacup that he handed to me. The Alpha poured it himself from the kettle that was brought here by one of his pack's doctors, the one who tended to his wounds when he was badly wounded from his fights and battles. "What is this?" I could not help, but ask him. I liked the scent of it. I was quite knowledgeable when it came to teas, but I was certain that I hadn't encountered this one. It had a relaxing aroma, and just by sniffing it, it's making me sleepy. "That's no ordinary tea. It's a drug that would put your wolf to sleep," he said, but I had already taken my first sip, and hearing that scared me. "What do you mean? Why would you need to do that to my wolf?" "I know that your wolf is still recovering from your mate's rejection, but it is strong enough to reject my wolf as I tried to bond with you." "What do you mean?" "If I fuck you while your wolf is awake inside of you, your body will surely suffer
