Harrison's eyes locked onto Oscar, his voice firm. "Will you leave already? Can't you see I want to have a word with Lyra alone?"

Oscar's gaze lingered on Lyra before he nodded briefly. His eyebrows plunged, shadowing his eyes as he stood, his eyes flashing with annoyance.

Oscar stepped out, his footsteps echoing in the hallway before he stopped, his reflection in a nearby mirror catching his attention. He frowned, tracing the bruises on his face. Lyra hadn't even noticed.

"Why do I care?" Oscar muttered to himself, furrowing his brows.

His phone slid out of his pocket, and he dialled a number. "Ethan's voice answered on the first ring. "Oscar, what's the update?"

"I found something," Oscar said, his tone low.

"Is it the royal seal?" Ethan asked, anticipation lacing his voice.

Oscar hesitated. "No... it's about Piper."

Ethan grunts, "Go on."

"Piper has a child. And she's pregnant again."
