Anastasia
Avery was still sleeping when I placed a tray of breakfast on the bed. I moved over to her and kissed her bare shoulder. She didn't stir. Her back was still turned to me. I got on top of her and kissed her cheek over and over until she frowned and rolled onto her back. Yet Avery still didn't show any sign of waking up. She was so adorable. I giggled to myself and brushed a strand of hair from her face. I'd never seen a person looked so lovely while sleeping. I could watch her like that all day. But then I would crave her company so much, I would have to be selfish and bring her back to the waking world with me.
I needed her. I needed her like the earth needed the sun.
I leaned to kiss her again on the lips.
AveryIstepped out of the bathroom again after a long shower. Then I saw Anastasia walking into the room, holding some clean clothes in her hands. When her face turned to me, she froze and then dropped the clothes to the floor. I was wrapped in a towel and still dripping with water. The light in Ana's golden eyes shifted. It was my turn to freeze in place, wondering what I did wrong."Er...I don't have any clothes with me, so..." I tried to explain, thinking it was inappropriate to walk around half-naked. But before I could blink, Anastasia was already in my face.My stomach did a flip. I recognized that look, that hungry look that had nothing to do with my blood. Anastasia pushe
NikolIfound myself inside a black after our private jet landed. We were heading towards the Red Square. Being forced to come back to this frozen city with Alex made everything seem irritating to my eyes. Rubber tires made crunching sounds over the ice as a parade of royal cars crawled into the quiet capital. People used to roam around this place, but not anymore. Moscow was now like a ghost city after the war, but I liked it that way. The limo kept rolling on a snow-packed street until the great Kremlin Wall came into view.I glanced at Alexandra, who was sitting like a stone status by the foggy window. She had been ignoring me for this whole boring trip. How could she do that while I couldn't bear the thought of leaving Anastasi
We got out of the car at last. In front of the Royal Palace, black-coated soldiers stood at attention on both sides of the red carpeted pathway. I looked up at the multi-domed roof of the red majestic buildings before me.A group of royal guards appeared and bowed at Alexandra. We kept walking forward through the massive gate. Then I saw a bearded man came up and gave a respective bow to Alex.I recognized him. He was theStarets, a holy man, who had served as a religious teacher to the imperial family back in the day. I was a little surprised that this starets was still around. The former Czar was so fond of him. They thought his prayers had saved their sick Czarevich Alexei, who was the only heir to the Russian throne at that time. But the Bolsheviks thought they were just a bunch of lunatics. I guessed
AveryIn the semi-darkness of the room, our moaning sounded through the quiet night. The weight of an angelic figure atop me left no air in my lungs. I gasped as Anastasia ground herself against my heated pearl. She was taking her time, and it caused more slipperiness from my soaked entrance. We both moaned in sensual pleasure. After a while, Ana lifted my knees up, spreading me wider. She went on to glide her fingers up and down, devouring my wet snub. She ran her other hand around my bum and sucked lightly on my neck, sending shivers up and down my spine. My body trembled as she continued to lick my breasts, nibbling my throbbing nipples. Her fingers parted my moist lips and then sli
NikolImarched down the corridor between the rows of statues and tall windows, giving a half-hearted glance at the palace maids. They bowed when they saw me. Their red eyes beamed out in respect. The irony was I remembered growing up in an underprivileged home. Now everybody bowed at my feet. The thought made me smile. There was still a lot for me to be had. Blame it on my immortality. It had given me a freedom to get whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. But nothing could compare to my longing for the Romanov sisters. They had it all. Any one of them in my grip would grant me everything I'd ever wished for. I would just have to work harder.
Heading back into my room, I pushed open the double doors so hard, the force rattled the hinges. My mind kept drifting back to the frustrating moment with Alex. It lasted about ten minutes. Ten minutes of frantic lustful disgrace and she had already engraved an eternal pain in my gut.I found Roza sitting on the bed with a shocked expression. She stood up and backed away, looking as if she was trying to blend in with the furniture. I had forgotten to dismiss the girl from my room. For some stupid reason, she didn't leave. So it seemed like now she was in danger of my rising tantrum.I flashed over to her. She gasped, throwing her hands over her mouth in terror. I guess she must have seen the killer look on my face when I came into the room. Roza understood it was her unlucky day. She stepped back, but I grabbed her by t
AveryIbrushed the tips of my fingers over the smooth black piano, then lifted open the lid and pressed on a tiny white key. The sharp high-pitch note resonated across the empty room. But even after the sound ceased, my heart still buzzed with unspeakable torment. Misery held me down like an anchor and drowned me deeper than the ocean. Painful tears started to sting my eyes as I stared at the elegant piano again. How could it not be clearer to me? Had I been sleepwalking the whole time? Alex loved me. She loved me more than I could imagine, but maybe there was a clog in my brain that made me unable to grasp the notion. And now it was too late. I let my own stubbornness and ignorance thickened like a fog around my heart. And now it
NikolRoza sat on the floor by the comfy sofa with her arms wrapped around her knees. Her green eyes kept staring at me as I paced back and forth, swinging her twelve-inch blade in my hand. If there was a hunter on the loose inside the Palace, there would be more of them roaming around the Kremlin Walls. Roza must have been captured by our army and then got enslaved. She managed to keep her cover. I figured if she were a skilled hunter, I would have been dead by now. Roza was still too young and too nervous for the task.I stopped and stared at the girl again. She might not seem much for now, but I knew deep down that this innocent human could be my secret weapon to get back at Alex. If I could convince her to bring out her clan, it wou
*After many requests, the Sequel of the Romanov Princess is finally out! It's under the title, 'Anastasia Romanov' and now you can go and add the book to your library ! Yay!* **If you like fantasy stories and not to mention gxg, you can check out my new fantasy book, "Daughter of the Naga".Caution: that story might cause you joy. Here are some fun facts about The Romanov Princess: -The original title of this story is My Vampire Mistress. - The short name for Anastasia in Russian would be "Nastya" or "Nastas" not Ana. And did you know the short-name for Alexandra isn't "Alex", but in Russia we would call her, "Sasha". LOL. - The two sisters only appeared as fictional characters at first, but one of my great readers suggested I make the story more historical, and that's when I realized how coincident it was that the c
As I sat inside an open-air gazebo, I watched the salty gentle breeze blew over the palm trees. Above the clear aqua-blue water, I watched herons filled up the tropical plants. Others went soaring in the high blue sky, going out of their nests for the morning hunt. Little birds chirped away over the blinding white beach.I breathed in the fresh humid air of serenity and tried to soak up the new reality I was thrown into. Then a musical voice drifted through the gentle wind. A new rush of vibrating zeal burst through my veins. I knew that sweet delicate tone. My face lighted up into a smile, already anticipating the presence of my other half."Alex!"I stood up and turned around to find a stunning girl in her beautiful pink pastel dress. It flowed and rippled over her e
AnastasiaIpunched one of the royal guards hard. He stumbled back and yelped in pain. I kicked the other in the stomach and flipped another off my back to the ground. My hands twisted his hand at the joints until I heard a crack. The poor guard cried on the floor. I was mad with anger and heartache.By then, no one dared to touch me anymore. Their fear of getting hurt like their fellows was visible on their hard faces."Your highness, please forgive us. We're only following the order," they apologized, bowing in surrender."Your job is to do as I say!" I yelled. "Now open the freaking door now or I'll rip all your heads off!"
AlexandraIwas drifting beyond this physical world of time and space. Until all my senses were wide awake, like the first blossom of spring. Like a spark of music to wake me from this endless dream. One touch at a time formed a sensation. A burst of electrifying jolts brought back fragments of my thoughts one by one. My hands wrapped around a small frame of someone. I felt like a newborn, suckling with hunger and wants.Ravenous growls echoed from the depth of my stomach. Sinking my teeth deeper, I wanted to get more of this blissful liquid taste. It was like sweet nectar or rich ambrosia to my thirsty mouth. For some reason, everything felt wrong to me. Something about a glowing
Ihad never been so terrified in my life that every breath I took agonized me. The constant craving for the person I longed for and how I might not be able to satisfy its hunger. And now my personal torment was still a never-ending course."Ana," I whispered to Anastasia, who sat near me in the car after we got off the plane."Yes?" she said, turning her face to me."Who did that to Alex?""You don't want to hear about it now,""I've heard from Victor, that someone betrayed her, is that true?" I said. Ana looked at me for a moment and then she nodded."Who's the traitor?"
AveryMy head rested against Anastasia's back as we were riding Stardust back to the mansion. It was getting colder as twilight began to fade. Anastasia had taken off her white coat and draped it around my shoulders. Stardust's footsteps were the only sound we heard through the wood as neither of us said anything. Of course, there was nothing left to say anymore. Finally, the forest fell into the background, and we got back into the backyard garden at last.Ana looked over her shoulder and whispered to me, "Are you alright?""Mmm..." I gave a weak nod."I'm getting off now."I nodded
AlexandraIstood looking at the Moskva River through the window. Saint Basil's Cathedral and the Red Square were in my view to the east. I could see Alexander Garden sprawled out from the west side. But everything felt so empty. Moscow was empty and cold and sad. Russia, Window to the West, was now a depressing sight. But it amazed me how I could still survive without Avery up to this point. It hurt every freaking night. I didn't know how long I could live with this. As if my heart would need a fortress stronger than Kremlin to keep it inside Russia. My heart knew no distance or time, all it was beating for was to be with my loved one. I missed the dizzying happiness with her. I missed her soft skin, her delicious lips, her fragra
NikolThe door creaked and Roza's petite form stepped inside. I rushed over to her and pushed the door shut again. I grabbed Roza by the wrist and led her back into the room."Did anyone see you?" I asked in a low voice."No," she said. "I was alone.""Good." I nodded in relief. "Now tell me what your hunters said about my plan.""Well, it was hard to convince them, but they finally agreed," Roza replied. "I told them what you had told me. When everything comes to an end, you will set our people free. We only wait for your turn."I
Anastasia"Long time no see. Are you up for a good ride today, Stardust?" I said to my thoroughbred horse as I stepped in the barn, a bag of pieces of apple in my hand. Stardust's cotton white coat shone like a puffy morning cloud. The mare hung her head over her stall door and let out an eager whinny in response. Her white mane flowed like raw silk. I reached up to pat her strong shoulder. Stardust's ears twitched in delight as I motioned to our human stable boys to take the horse out.The white mare shook her powerful neck as she walked into a stream of spring sunshine. I took the reins from the stable boy and fed some more apple pieces to the horse."You want to get out and go as mu
