Today was the day I was going to go and meet my daughter for the very first day. I couldn’t tell her who I was or anything. But I could ease my mind as well as Levi’s. We were worried about our pup. She may not be ours by birth, but she was ours nonetheless.

Leaving the dens at the peak of my shift, I made my way towards where I could hear children singing? Reciting? I couldn’t be sure as the children were saying something, but the many voices muffled the sound. I walked up to an old run-down building that looked outdated in many ways. By the heat radiating off the building, I could tell that it had no air conditioning and probably no heat. While all the other houses in this pack looked to be state-of-the-art. The buildings that housed the ‘Slaves’ or less than desirables were appalling. Their building resembled the way the pack treated them. Like they were absolutely nothing.
