“Lydia?” I blinked my eyes open.

What is that feeling?! I groaned and shut my eyes again.

I was in some kind of moving vehicle and the road was bumpy, with each pothole my skull seemed to bang and scream.

“Lydia?” I felt a bottle being pushed to my lips.

Without thinking, I took a big drink of the water and sighed as the cold liquid soothed my throat and I opened my eyes fully.

“Where are we?” I asked Dimitri.

My head was on his thighs and I noticed he was shirtless.

“Why are you naked!” I hissed and shot out of his lap as though he were on fire.

The sudden movement made my head scream. I held my head and groaned in pain.

“Relax pervert,” Dimitri chuckled. “You needed to wear something and we didn’t exactly have the opportunity to go dress shopping,”

I frowned and looked down to realise he was right. I wasn’t wearing my shadow dress anymore but his shirt.

My cheeks stained red as I realised my powers must have flickered out, leaving me naked while I was asleep.
