For my own good? Whatever he had done didn’t feel like it was for my own good as I groaned and rolled over on the moving hard surface to empty the contents of my stomach.

I retched and clutched my stomach while taking deep breaths. Empty.

My stomach was so empty, I had nothing to vomit.

My head bobbed up and down, hitting against the floor as a dull throbbing ache began behind my eyes.

I groaned softly and blinked my eyes open. I was in a vehicle. A truck?

I had no idea. It was dark and the engine made a terrible noise. Slowly? I pushed myself to a sitting position and raised a hand to the back of my head where a small egg-sized bump awaited me.

WILSON! Did he hit me?! What the hell?!

“So you’re finally up,” Drusilla drawled lazily.

“What the hell happened!” I groaned as I looked around, straining my eyes to see around me.

“You’re awake,”

I jerked and hit my head against the side of the truck with a groan.
