Sorry for the long wait. As of right now this book is on a hiatus until the end of the year. Please bare in mind I'm not only a writer, I'm also a mother, a wife, and a caregiver for several people. The moment they were outside, Akaisha felt the cool breeze hit her warm skin. Annoyance exuded from her. “Why did you talk to him so friendly like? And what insignificant matter did he mean? Was he talking about the issue with me?” She huffed. It wasn’t her business, but she had to know. Acheki wanted to stop her before she could work herself up into a frenzy. Somehow, in the short time frame, he figured out the way she operated. He placed his hands on her shoulders. Heat radiated off her skin. It was scorching to his touch. The desire to cup her face became stronger. He ignored it. “Listen, there’s a lot we should discuss while we walk. Plus, I still owe you a meal.” “I don’t want anything to eat. After Dave showed her a fraction of his altered appearance. Akaisha couldn’t believe that he was a failed experiment. It made sense if she remembered everything taught to her about lycanthropes. Their metabolism is impossibly fast. They formulated a special-grade medication for them because of the way their body metabolizes anesthesia.
