Lana stumbled and felt a shooting pain in her belly. Then, a warm rush of blood flowed beneath her. Kai rushed to help her up, concern filling his voice, "Lana, are you okay?"

Brushing Kai off with a palpable sense of disdain, Lana looked disturbed. She said, "I need to find Andrew. I have to go to him."

Kai watched Lana rush away like a madwoman, heedless of the bloodstains trailing her, tumbling as she chased after someone who had long vanished, "I won't divorce you, Andrew. Don't leave me! I can't live without you. What will I do if you leave me?"
