Alan and Blaze ended their meetup at eleven o’clock and returned to their homes.

Alan returned to the living room of his house, finding Elaine in her pajamas. She was lying on the sofa and staring at her phone screen with one hand propping her chin up. She looked like she was imagining something.

Upon noticing the situation, Alan said in puzzlement, “What the heck is going on with you, Elaine? Who’s on the phone? Show it to me!”

Alan reached out to snatch Elaine’s phone. She hastily put it away and said, “I won’t tell. Where were you today? I looked everywhere for you.”

“I told you that I was meeting a friend for a drink. Let’s not divert the topic of conversation here. I saw a man on your phone’s screen. Who is that? Your boyfriend?” asked Alan.

Elaine blushed scarlet as she said shyly, “He’s my crush, and I won’t tell you!”

Alan glared at his sister and inquired further in a displeased tone, “You should use me as a standard when it comes to choosing a boyfriend. Look at my abs.
