Eden pointed toward the distance and grabbed the binoculars. Peering through them, he let out a gasp of shock. The enormous creature atop the hill was unmistakably the wolf monster.

At that moment, the monster ceased emitting flames. Its black-green fur nearly blended into the trees' branches and leaves, rendering it almost invisible.
