Chapter 3358

In the pitch-black darkness of a deserted village on the outskirts of Exasword, a faint glow of light suddenly appeared, looking quite conspicuous against the night. The glow emanated from a campfire, around which several tents were pitched. Three men and two women sat together near the fire, roasting food, chatting, and laughing with evident joy.

"Have you heard? This village was evacuated because of some monster," one man, skinny as a stick, said in a low, ominous voice.

"A monster?!" The two girls were visibly frightened, huddling closer to each other, their voices trembling.

"Jeffrey, stop scaring them with your stories. If you can’t ever get a girlfriend, you have no one to blame but yourself,” one of the other boys reprimanded as they both turned to comfort the girls.

These five were students of Exasword Academy, seeking adventure by camping in this area that was said to be haunted. It was a fitting end to their time at the academy.

Ryan Terry and Kelsey Harper were a couple
