Chapter 2785

Author: Celestial Clouds
Everything came to a halt as if time had frozen. Adrian looked around and realized that those within the range of the sword ray. He and Hansen could move, as well as Tyson and the others. However, everything else outside the courtyard had ceased.

"So this is the Lunar Edge’s ability," Adrian commented.

Tyson and the others looked at Hansen curiously. They had known that the Lunar Edge was important to their village, but they were only learning of its ability to freeze space and time now.

"You have two days left. Make good use of them," Hansen said indifferently.

"Chief Hansen, we'll head out and kill the people from the other two villages!" Tyson and the others said.

Adrian turned around to look outside the courtyard. The sword ray range was about hundreds of meters, almost enveloping all of Blade's Reach. Except for the people in this courtyard, everyone else was completely immobilized. If they could go out now and take down their enemy, it would indeed be the best choice.

At the same time, another battle was unfolding some distance away from the three villages while the intense battle in Blade's Reach came to a standstill."You fossils! Have you two gone insane?! Why must you target me?!" Thalia, or rather the dark dragon attached to her, roared at the two old men behind it.One of the old men wore a gray robe belonging to Mudstone and had long black hair. The other wore a pure white robe, sporting a head of white hair and a white beard. Both of them were calm as they pursued Thalia through the wilderness."Your dragon soul makes the most delicious tonic," Fynn answered nonchalantly.Thalia’s expression was furious. After leaving this place, it had no intention of returning. After all, these three neighboring villages had changed considerably while it had been slumbering all those years. Although destroying them before leaving this world was a trivial matter, it had to consider the secret techniques the three old men possessed. They cause even a dra

Two hundred years ago, Thalia already knew that a group of thieves frequently entered its sleeping place. But while it was still in slumber, it didn't have many means to stop them. Thus, it could only place a curse on the three villages. From then on, the villagers could not see the souls attached to the treasures, resulting in countless deaths and injuries. Though only one-tenth of the people returned each year, the three villages slowly accumulated a large number of treasures. They almost emptied out the dark dragon’s sleeping place."No matter what, you won’t obtain the dragon soul. Even if I have to perish, I won't give you the chance!" Thalia roared. To force a true dragon to say such words was enough for the two chiefs to be proud. However, this wasn’t their goal. They didn't care about Thalia perishing.Suddenly, Alistair shouted, "The time has come!"The wind howled, and a giant silver net fell from the sky.Thalia stopped and looked up. The world before her eyes turned b

"The sky over there is dark," said Alistair, furrowing his brows."I knew it wouldn't be that simple. The treasures accumulated over the years aren't just for show," Fynn said nonchalantly, "But since the two of us are here, Hansen can't change the situation no matter how capable he is.”Thalia looked at the white sky above it. Then its gaze shifted from there to the night sky above Blade’s Reach. Its eyes flickered, thinking to itself, ‘No wonder that old man in black valued the Lunar Edge so much. He predicted today's situation long ago, but what method does he have to break this deadlock? The Lunar Edge not only locks the space where the enemy is but also locks them within. When the time is up, everything will return to its original state. Nothing will change unless there's someone who can break the deadlock.’Thalia turned to the two old men, asking, "Where’s Adrian?"Fynn replied indifferently, "He’s been captured by the people of Blade's Reach. But why do you care about him s

The Lunar Edge’s range extended to several hundred meters, locking down all of Blade's Reach Village. But Fynn and Alistair, wearing their unique robes, walked into the range along with Thalia without being affected. They possessed certain treasures to counter the Lunar Edge’s effect. When Fynn entered the Lunar Edge’s range, he found his arm frozen when he tried to probe into it with his hand. He broke free, causing his sleeve to tear."So that’s what this is. I didn't expect Hansen to have such a treasure," Fynn said after pulling out his arm."You should have quite a few treasures too, right? Dealing with this kind of barrier shouldn't be that difficult.” Alistair chuckled."It's just a small barrier, and entering it is easy," Fynn said as he took out a talisman hidden in his sleeve. The dark-colored talisman had some strange patterns on it that others couldn't understand. Fynn activated the talisman with his Vital Energy and a barrier formed around the three of them. They then

Hansen descended the steps and approached the two other chiefs, blocking their way. When Fynn and Alistair saw the Dragon Dial in Adrian's hands, their expressions turned grim. They now understood what the other party was doing. They planned to use Adrian, this strange outsider, to decipher the Dragon Dial.Thinking of this, the two old men exchanged glances, showing no hesitation.Fynn shouted sternly, "Adrian! Blade's Reach is doomed! If you don't want to die, take the Dragon Dial with you and follow us!""Humph! You’re seeking death!" He swung his sword, and the moonlight suddenly dimmed. The moon and stars in the sky, as well as the black night sky, all seemed to be torn apart like a curtain, completely dissipating. A bright light enveloped the entire courtyard, followed by the sudden sounds of fighting. The battle that had stopped outside for two days had resumed. The person swinging their sword severed their enemy's neck, causing blood to spray out. But what puzzled them w

While the three chiefs were busy with their battle, Tyson and others left the courtyard and went to intercept those from the other two villages. Meanwhile, Thalia slowly approached the room where Adrian was since the three engaged in combat, silently disappearing from everyone's sight.Alistair looked around and found that the girl who had entered with them was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Thalia?!" he roared."Oh no! It’s..."Fynn and Hansen were stunned.Thalia walked into the room, sneering at Adrian who was deciphering the Dragon Dial. "Adrian! Weren’t expecting us to meet again, huh?"Adrian turned and spotted Thalia standing by the door. Her pupils were vertical slits, and it was obvious that she was the dark dragon. He said impatiently, "Get out. I don't have time to deal with you right now.""Hmph! Has your strength fully recovered? Even so, you’re no match for me." Thalia sneered.Adrian stopped and looked away from the Dragon Dial to Thalia, saying, "Do you think I can

"Get lost!" Adrian shouted as he unleashed the Inferno Purgatory, sending Alistair flying. When the two people outside saw Alistair being thrown by the sword energy, they remained unfazed. After all, even though Adrian had not reached level eight yet, his combat strength was comparable to any level eight fighter. After regaining his footing, Alistair looked at the silhouette in the room ahead and asked incredulously, "He's powerful. Where is he from, or is it common for outsiders to be as powerful as him?""Don't worry. This fellow is an exception," Hansen said indifferently. Meanwhile, Fynn looked at Adrian silently. He had made a mistake. Someone like Adrian should either be killed or befriended for use. However, the opportunity to befriend Adrian had already been seized by Hansen.Adrian turned to them and said, "Get out now. Otherwise, no one will be able to leave this place.”Alistair and Fynn sneered as they turned to Hansen."Are you sure he's trustworthy?" Fynn asked.

After all, this was the only way the people of Blade's Reach could leave this place. "Hansen, you think your eyes can see the future, but have you ever thought that there are things in this world that can shield your vision?" Alistair said while putting down the two swords in his hands.Hansen frowned. It was true that he could not see Alistair's past or future, but he felt this was normal. After all, it was impossible to see all of a person's life. But right now, he felt that Alistair was hinting at something.Alistair suddenly turned his head and shouted, "Emma!"A white figure rushed in from outside the courtyard. With a stern expression, Alistair said to Emma, "Time is running out. I didn't want it to come to this, but now it's time for you to act.""This is what I should do for the village," Emma said calmly. She then threw away her sword and took out a pendant. As she looked at the pendant, there was a hint of reluctance in her eyes. When her parents entered the secret re
