Arya Pov
I walked into a bar with my head bent every step away, a deadly glare staring down at me. I melted under their gaze. But I cared less about holding the rim of my clothes until I reached the counter.
I saw the bartender, who looked at me with raised eyebrows and a questioning look like, What the hell are you doing here? But I cared less about any of them.
"Hey, I need a drink," I said amidst his eyes on me.
"Well, well, what a pleasant surprise! The maid at Jondam restaurant drinks." It came like a question, but I ignored him, with no response from me. He shifted backwards, bringing two drinks to the counter.
"Whiskey or vodka?" he asked. I raised my head but couldn't distinguish which as I placed my hand on one, pulling it forward.
"Nice choice, baby," he said, adjusting backwards and bringing forward a glass cup. He looked at me closely before going about his business. It wasn't like I mattered after all.
I sat on the long chair at the counter, taking in the liquor in front of me, sip by sip, and drowning through my sorrows. I was deep in thought, as I didn't notice someone sitting beside me.
I got a tap on my shoulder. "Having a bad day like me?" I looked at him with tears streaming down my eyes.
"Come on, don't be a cry baby," I said, burying my face downward.
"It hurts, right? That was how I felt when I lost my mate; my whole world was crashing in front of me." I raised my face, picking up interest in what he was saying suddenly. If he knew who I was, he wouldn't be talking to me, I thought to myself.
I looked at him over and over again, taking in his handsome face in front of me. I gasped as I compared him to my ex-mate. He had this sense of charisma.
"It sucks'," he said, battering out, taking in the liquor. I was listening to his side talk, but I was mesmerized by how handsome he looked. He cupped my face with his hands, adjusting further. I felt an electric surge run through my body.
He came forward. "Everything is going to be fine," he said, compensating me like a mother to her pup. I felt at peace for the moment, knowing fully well it wasn't going to last. He used his hands to wipe away my tears. I could feel his breath on my skin. It was doing something to my body. This is a feeling I have never felt before. I buried my lower lip in between my teeth, holding back. It took me a lot to not crash my lips against his full lips.
"Do you want to get out of here?" he asked, jotting me out of my thoughts. I nodded squarely, highlighting my seat. I staggered, and he cut me. I didn't know how much alcohol I consumed, but my bottle was half way gone.
I trailed behind him like a slave commanded by his master. I didn't care about who was looking or the side talk. All my concern was that this handsome man was doing something to my body that I couldn't understand.
He guided my steps as I was tipsy. That was my first time drinking so much alcohol, and I got the peace I wanted for the moment, but this handsome guy beside me made my mind dirty.
We left the bar for his car as we were in front of a boldly written motel. He opened the door and guided me out, heading to the reception.
He made some small talk with the blonde girl before he led me up the stairs to the door. He clicked it open and gently sat me down on the bed, removing his shoes.
My eyes were on his every move, though blurry due to the alcohol content. He looked at me closely, using one of his hands to flip through my hair. It sends some sensation down my body, I haven't felt this close to a man before. I was tapping on my laps with my middle finger, sinking my lower lip in between my teeth. The tranquility between us was tense, just us in the world looking deep into each other's eyes; nothing else mattered anymore.
"Don't bite too much on your lips',' he said, breaking the silence. I shyly smiled at him before he crashed his lips on mine. My breath was sieved before I gave him entrance into my mouth. He sucked on my lip like his life depended on it. Our tongue is in constant conflict over who is going to take dominance. It was my first and hottest kiss. His hands roamed around my body, creating more tension as I could feel in-between my legs at the cave of my private lip getting wet.
He suddenly stopped. I don't want him to touch me. He looked into my eyes, and as much as I was tipsy, his gaze was making me shy.
He whispered, "Mate, what the hell is he talking about? I got a rejection a few minutes ago. With no more words, he resumed kissing. This time, it was intense.
It was a different kind of feeling that I had never felt before. My body was on fire; it yearned for more. He trailed kisses down my earlobe, sucking it slightly as he ventured down my neck. I held onto his head as I found my hands roaming his body. His clothes weren't giving me entrance.I found his button, slowly removing it bit by bit while he worked his magic on me. I could see his burge in-between his trousers.
He gulped my left breast with one of his hands as I moaned at his touch. He unzipped my gown as it fell over to my feet. I was naked, with just my bra and pants. I felt shy.
"Don't be a shy baby girl," I chuckled, looking down to the floor. He raised my face and looked at me once more before crashing his lips on mine once again. Using his hands to fuddle my breast. I gasped as I moaned in between the kisses. His bare skin was on my body as I held the back of his head.
His hands went through my back, unlocking my bra. My breasts stood, welcoming him. He looked me over one night as he came close to my ear, his breath on my skin.
"Beautiful boobs." I smiled and felt shy once again. He fuddled them, taking one into his mouth. He sucked on my swollen nipple, and my moan echoed through the room. His hands lingered in my private cave. Adjusting my pants beside me He teased me at my entrance. He left the left breast and cupped the right one. My moaning echoed throughout the room. My body was electrified for more, as I wanted more, not just his teasing. His every touch was blowing my mind away. A pull of sensation I have never felt before.
He trailed down kisses from my chest to my stomach down to my cave, my legs whooping; I couldn't feel my legs anymore. He raised my legs to the air, burying his mouth in my private cave. I could feel his warm mouth on my clitoris as he sucked further. My body was on fire as I moaned. I could feel my orgasm build up, and I released in a jolt my honey juices. He licked it, adjusting forward. He slowly teased my entrance with his dick before stroking into me. As his dick entered inside of me, I gasped a mix of pain and pleasure, holding up to the sheets. He strolled in and out gently, but it was way too painful. I adjusted to his size as he paved the way, strolling faster. It was a pleasure mixed with pain. He gave me a kiss. All that could be heard across the room was the smacking of two bodies as our pleasure scent filled the room. He was panting when he was about to come, pulling his seeds inside of me before he collapsed on my body, capping his breath. He pulled beside me, kissing my forehead as he enculped me to his chest before he started snoring.
I strolled down his chest, rhythmically playing with the heir on his chest. I want to stay in his arms forever. I could feel this feeling before I fell asleep.
The rays of the sun pierced through the milk curtains, floods of light radiating from within. I opened my eyes; my head was pounding within. I held on to it. I gushed at the disgusting feeling within. I felt like poking as I rushed through the bathroom, emptying everything I took in into the sink.
I cleaned up as I came out of the restroom. Everything that happened last night played back in my head. I sighed when I looked at the other end of the bed; he was still fast asleep. I didn't even know his name. I arched my forehead as the feeling of guilt watched over me. I felt filthy.
I quickly picked up my clothes, careful enough not to make any sound. I left the room.
"I will be gone if food isn't yet ready at the restaurant." My heart beat speeds up as the feeling of urgency runs through my head.
Arya Pov"Where are you coming from? Echoing through the room. It was the voice of Beta Felix, halting me in my steps.Even in my silent footsteps, he still beat me to my game.I removed my slippers, tiptoeing inside to avoid being noticed. I was cut off guard when Beta Felix's voice echoed through the room. I flinched, swallowing hard. I swiftly turn to be graced by a red-hot face by the corner. His veins were popping through. I shifted back. I felt my heart about to rip off from the rib cage. "Answer me, you little bitch," his voice was louder than before. Thank goodness I took my bath before coming back; I could have drenched my underwear with droplets of urine."I…I…I…..I…I slackened to my words."I was attacked by rogues after the mating ceremony at Jayon Spring." He was a few steps away from me when he stopped looking at me closely, my eyes shut. I still vividly had some cuts on my body due to the previous beating, andhe retracted his steps without saying a word.I breathed ou
Leo pov I walked from one end of the room to the other, my thoughts running wild. It seems everything I do doesn't have any effect on her. She wants to prove brave and strong. I pace from one end to the other, frustration creeping into my system. I want to break her,I want to see her cry and cry since she thinks she can be smart enough. I want to see her sob out her eyes.Wait a minute, am I not handsome enough? I looked through the mirror in my room. Using my hands to retouch my face, my black, short curve through my forehead is almost close to my eyebrows. My brown eyes were so captivating with my succulent pink lips coupled with my muscular nature that they could attract any girl, but then Arya was different."She is your sister," my wolf Duo said, trying to change my mood."She isn't my sister," I slammed the desk closest to me. I was forming with rage, my veins popping out, and my breath heavy. I hit the closet closer to me, shattering it into pieces. It formed a huge mess in t
Damian povI turned off the engine in front of the familiar building, and the car came to a halt. My hands were on the steering wheel while my eyes looked at the familiar building. My breath fanned my hands. I have been here countless times before. And each day I step foot into this building, my heart rate goes up. I could feel it beating so hard beneath my rib cage, my muscles tense up, and my blood flow wasn't spared, flowing through my genitals and hardening my cork. I gasped. What is going on with me? I have never felt this way before, even when Alice was lying stacked naked on the bed. She has to do lots of work to get me to turn me on. But I couldn't explain who or what was responsible for it.I was just forcing my gaze at the entrance of the building, where wolves occasionally trot in and out. Previously, I had occasionally scanned with my eyes to see the person responsible for my intruding body reaction, even though her scent was far greater, and each time I had to roam my eye
Arya povThe sun cast its golden hues on the floor. I lay on the ground with my back on the floor and my face facing the sky. My hands were held against each other and placed on my tummy. My ears were filled with the sweet song of the birds and the tiny insects on the land. I breathed in the cool breeze, and my skin enjoyed the cold dew.My eyes were shut; it was my favorite place. The garden."Arya," a voice called, and my heart jumped inside my stomach, hoping it wasn't Leonor Alice. I kept calm without moving an inch, hoping it was my imagination. I was a mile away from their reach, and I prayed silently that no one would discover a place where I keep my sh*t together—my favorite place."Arya, my child," the voice called again, but it was gentle, just like a gentle breeze. It wasn't familiar, and it wasn't my imagination playing tricks on me.I jumped to my feet, looking left and right like a lost puppy who had missed her way. I tried to figure out where the voice was coming from.
Arya PovThe rustling of the leaves drew closer, and darkness enveloped my vision. I pulled myself to the back of the nearest tree trunk, peeking out of my eyes to see if I could see the owner of the footsteps that drew closer. My heart was pounding within, threatening to jump out of its position. I held a hand over my chest, trying to console my emotions, but it didn't help. Instead, I found my hands shivering like someone who had Parkinson's disease. Whoever it was saw me coming here. I had once felt eyes on me whenever I sneaked out through the back door, but I thought I was just being delusional. As the steps came closer, I prayed silently in my heart. I was just alone in the middle of the woods. Who is going to save them? The person might even hurt or do something worse than that. At the thought of it, I had goosebumps on my body."You can come out now, Arya." My back was on the trunk of the tree. I couldn't have the courage to see who had the voice, but the voice was familiar.
Damian pov"There has been an attack. There will be an urgent meeting in the next 30 minutes," I mid-linked Tristan and Beta Felix. The question kept lingering in my thoughts: why was the rogue's body found at the Lynx River? Who is responsible for the killing? I had called Tristan my gamma and Beta Felix my beta, along with other council members. I didn't just want to make a rash decision. I sat at the head seat in the conference room, my back resting on the chair and a finger on my chin. It was my duty to keep my pack safe. Beta Felix walked in the same way with Tristan and other members of the council."There has been an attack," they said, looking at me in confusion. No other bodies than the rogue's were found there. The person responsible for the killing was strong enough to tear five rogues into pieces. It doesn't seem like it was an attack, but rather a conspiracy. Someone must have brought them in; someone must have shown them our secret path into the pack. Someone has to ans
Damian Pov"You both may leave," I told both Alice and Leo, but stopped when the door of the conference room flung open. The rogue king walked in with an armor of confidence and a dominating aura."Alpha Damian, '' the rogue king, called my name in a hoarse voice and sarcastic tone. Why was he here? And what does he want?"Our path crossed again," my body tensed up,my fist clenched, and my muscles contracted. I was ready to dive the punch right into his nose, but I couldn't see myself doing it. "Why are you here? What do you want?" He slowly walked over to the curtains, focusing his gaze outside the white linen that lined the sky blue curtains. Each step he took was burned with the deadly glares from my eyes. He should be dead by now from the laser I shot through my eyes."The fresh breeze is welcoming." What the fuck? Who cares about that? What is he doing in my park? Memories I had with the rogue king were unpleasant. It hunted me every night, and I could still hear the voice of ag
Alice PovI sat on the white sand, my hands to my back, and the calm breeze blew my loose blonde hair, which fell freely on my shoulder. One of my favorite places. I enjoyed the ocean's waves and the calm nature of the ocean. The sun wasn't intense; it was about hiding under the blue sky. A place to clear my head and play on the string of the violin, enjoying each rhythm that pulled through it. I enjoy the rhythm of both my voice and the melodies from the violin.I usually come to the beach occasionally a place to put my lyrics together and try them out with my instrument. I'm a songwriter, and I love singing too. I'm not just a devil, you know? I'm good at so many other things.I wrote a song after the tragic dismissal of my mother, but I couldn't find myself singing it. The day she died, I was out here with my instrument, putting one or two together to form a great melody. After so many years, I finally made peace with myself and had the courage to come to the beach. I breathe in
Arya stood before the tomb, her body shaking with sobs as she gazed upon the final resting place of her son, Akira. The tomb, reserved for descendants of the alpha lineage, was a poignant reminder of the legacy that had once belonged to her family, but now rested with Damian.Luna Seraphine's gentle touch and soothing words offered little comfort as Arya's grief consumed her. The pain was suffocating, and the realization that she would never see her vibrant, full-of-life son again was a constant, crushing blow.Arya's heart seethed with anger towards Alice and Leo, her cousins who had orchestrated the palace attack. If not for them, Akira would still be alive, safe in her arms. The thought fueled her anguish, and she whispered into the wind, searching for the essence of her deceased parents, who had promised to always be with her.But their spirits seemed distant, and Arya felt only despair. The warmth and love she once knew were now replaced with an unrelenting sorrow. Even with Luna
The priest ran his hand through his thinning hair and let out an exasperated sigh. "Arya, I really wish there was something we could do. But the laws of our order expressly state that we must not interfere in conflict between brothers of the same kind. The consequences are dire. I'm sorry Arya, but our hands are tied," the man said somberly with his eyes closed.Arya thought to herself and knew there was no use trying to convince the order to go against their traditions. But there had to be a way to salvage the situation and stop her cousins from visiting evil upon the pack and perhaps, the whole earth. Just then, an idea flashed across her mind and she gave it no time to settle well before voicing it out."How about you train me to harness my magic and become powerful enough to stop the enemy. That's not something you cannot do, right?" Arya asked, hiding the pain and anxiety in her voice as she spoke. The priest squinted his eyes, deep in contemplation. He focused on a particular gr
Damian approached the house with a plastic bag containing their dinner, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a mix of caution and confusion. He had parked the van a few poles back, just as he'd done when he was with Anika, and walked the rest of the way, his senses on high alert. As he moved through the night, he swept his gaze from side to side, high on alert to spot any strange movements, his ears perked up to catch the slightest sound. Not that he expected danger to be lurking around, but one could never be too careful.A sense of foreboding and dread sat in his stomach, and he suddenly felt goosebumps on his skin, a rare occurrence for a Vis Wood like himself. His heart raced slightly faster, and his hand instinctively went to the pocket where he kept his dagger, a habitual gesture that had become second nature to him. These were odd behaviors for his wolf, and he could only wonder what was wrong. The house came into view now, and he looked to the side, ready to cross over th
The Blood Sisterhood were a secret sect of elite female warriors who paid allegiance to the Luna alone. They were part of the hidden tradition of the pack, a secret passed down from one generation of Luna to the next.Luna Seraphine took a deep breath, gathering her strength. "Sisters, I need you to go and ask for help from the Order of the Sun, the coven Arya's father belonged to during his lifetime. Tell them a daughter of theirs is faced with the threat of death at the hands of wicked people."The forewoman spoke up with a hint of hesitation in her voice. "This thing you ask of us, it totally goes against all that we represent. It is against our ethos to seek help from the witches." She stated gently but firmly.Luna Seraphine's voice came barely audible above a whisper. "Unless you're up for a battle against hell itself, I suggest you do as I have just requested."The woman argued, "We shall fight till death then. Our pride as a group supersedes the need to ask for help from the l
"There's no chance that would ever work!" the witch cried immediately after Leo told her what he needed her to do. She gently extracted herself from underneath his piercing gaze and walked over to the other side of the room."And why is that?" Leo asked, his voice cold and impatient."You see, the only reason why your sister could call you back up from the underworld was because she had at least a part of your dead corpse. And the head especially, makes things easier. If you don't have her body with you, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do to help," the old witch explained, feigning confidence and busying herself with arranging spices on a shelf in the corner.Leo flashed to her side using his heightened reflexes and hoisted her up in the air by her neck. "I'll go get her body. If you are not here when I return, I will find you, and I will kill you," he threatened through gritted teeth."I'd also have to wait for a full moon," the woman's desperate voice pleaded."I don't care! You'll
Damian consoled Arya over the loss of her child, but he couldn't seem to comfort her enough. She was a wrecking ball of sobs as she held baby Akira's dead form in her hands, even as Damian held her to his chest. What the bastards they had just killed did to the baby was heartless. Even in death, Akira looked like a beam of peace, his lips and skin now taking on the grayish pallor of death."I wish I had the words, my love," Damian found himself saying into the air, even though he was addressing Arya. It hurt him to see the woman he loved in such a state.Tristan and the other men from the elite command that had come with Damian to rescue his mate stood akimbo around them, at a loss for how to console both their alpha and his mate.Suddenly, Arya let out a loud gasp and began crumbling to the ground, struggling to breathe. Everyone was too stunned to do anything at first, until Damian snapped out of his shock and held her up firmly, struggling to contain both her weight and that of the
Damian sat in the backseat of the van, lost in thought. He was confident that after asserting his dominance in the Silver Crescent pack, Jasper and his followers wouldn't dare trespass again. He adjusted his new jacket, provided by Tristan, knowing his previous clothes would be ruined after his transformation. As they approached the Ember Moon pack, Damian's keen sense of smell detected something strange. He exchanged a concerned glance with Tristan, who nodded in agreement. "Kill the engines," Damian ordered, and the driver complied without question.Damian jumped out and crept behind the wall, motioning to Tristan to follow. "Break the men into groups," he whispered. "Take the secret side gates scattered around the fence. We need the advantage of surprise." Tristan nodded and relayed the orders to the men, dividing them into four groups to cover the North, East, West, and South wings of the premises.Damian led his group of six, including Tristan, towards the West wing. As they appr
Arya and Luna Seraphine sat on their seats, their senses on high alert. The sounds were getting closer, and Luna's voice was laced with urgency as she turned to Arya and said, "Quick, go to Akira. I don't like these sounds."Arya's heart sank into her stomach as she remembered her dream and recalled that Akira went missing in the dream. She never found him. If that were to happen now, she'd kill herself. She was sure of it.She ran as fast as her legs could go, her pace fueled by adrenaline. She turned into a side door to climb into a corridor when a body was tossed out of the corridor, and she stopped dead in her tracks. Her wolf instincts, though rarely active, screamed danger. The corpse was dressed in palace guard attire, partially shifted into its wolf form, badly disfigured, with a gaping hole where the left eye should have been and another in the chest.Slowly, she lifted her eyes to look into the corridor where the body was flung from. Her skin crawled at the sight before her.
Damian strolled into the garden, his eyes scanning the area for his mother and Arya. He recalled his mother inviting Arya to tea the previous night and smiled, remembering the closeness they shared. He had finally made up his mind to sire Jasper's child, and his thoughts were filled with Arya.As he approached the umbrella-shaded table, he beamed with a wide smile. "Top of the morning to you two, beautiful ladies." He kissed his mother's forehead and took Arya's hand, lifting it to his lips. His eyes locked onto hers, and he heard her subtle gasp."Hello, Arya. I trust you slept well?" Arya replied shyly, "Yes, alpha. Thank you."Luna Seraphine playfully rolled her eyes. "Yes, I slept well too, thank you." Damian chuckled and said, "I was going to ask you that, mother." He turned to Arya, his smile lingering. He noticed the tea on the table and teased, "I see you've both decided to have tea without me, then." He picked up his mother's cup, and she protested, "Put that back down, sil
