The Seventh Princess stood up, witnessing this scene, and let out a loud cry. She cried while pushing others away, rushing towards Emma. The other ladies-in-waiting followed closely behind, a rare sight indeed. Just then, the lady who had initially left, leading Edward back, hurriedly urged her horse forward. Edward, without a second thought, galloped over, arriving at Emma’s side and clinging her horse’s reins.

He thought Emma was injured. He had only left for a moment. How could this happen? But then, Emma was helped to her feet by Carol, holding her head as if she had been injured. Edward swiftly embraced her, his heart trembling. Overjoyed, he asked, “Are you alright?”

The Seventh Princess sobbed, her eyes still watery. She had clearly been terrified and clung to Emma’s hand without saying a word. It was her capriciousness that had caused Emma to fall from her horse. She had advised the Seventh Princess not to ride, yet the Seventh Princess had ignored her advice.
