At The Field

Tim and Richard returned to the field and parked at their usual parking spot. He looked at his time and it was a few hours to the close of work.

“Kindly call Valentine,” he requested.

“Okay,” he said and dialed his number.

He picked up the call and he gave him the message. While they were waiting for him to come, Tim called George and he picked up the call at once. He updated him with the mobile house and concluded with, “You can inform the Maintenance Manager to furnish the rooms. I want them to move in tomorrow.”

“I got it, Boss.”

“Good,” he said and cut the call.

Now, Valentine was walking briskly to them and Richard complimented him, “He likes the job.”

“You are right. And he is not pretending about it.”

Before Richard could respond, Valentine announced, “I am here, Major.”

“Yes. You will give your staff their offer letters,” he said and handed the offer letters to him.

He collected them with zest and appreciated him, “Okay, Major. Thank you for believing in me. I wi

Are you not one of us?” He asked him.“Pardon my misjudgment,” he pleaded and looked at his colleagues, who were as surprised as he was.Nevertheless, Valentine wrote one to thirty under their watchful eyes and folded the papers. Afterward, he shuffled and poured them on the floor.“Let us pick,” he instructed them.“You ar

After the greetings, he sat down and said, “Maj. Richard said that Valentine called him.”“What for?” Tim asked anxiously.“He said the foreigners were afraid to return to the hotel because they may be harassed.”“Ha! This is serious.”“Yes, Boss. He said they preferred to sleep on the floor of the mobile house.”“No. It has not come to that. What did you tell him?”“I advised him to ask him to take them to the Dome.”“The Dome? You would have talked to the manager of the hotel to accommodate them. It is just for the night.”“I thought as much but the trauma of their boss attempting to kill himself may demoralize them.”“It is all right.”“Concerning the Secretary, I think …?”“We will talk about it later,” Tim intervened and stopped him from going further.“I got it, Boss.”At The ClinicMichael swallowed hard and looked at Ambrose. Suddenly, the door opened and he was shocked. The drive to Rakaia relieved the foreigners and Valentine was happy. Meanwhile, he had sent a message to R

On Richard's arrangement, Valentine and his team arrived with two trucks. They looked at them in confusion but greeted them all the same, “Good morning, Supervisor. Good morning, driver.” “Good morning

Tim walked into George's office and they locked eyes. He noticed that he was sad and inquired, “What's up, Boss?”“I don't know how the boys would cope with a new Commandant,” he sat down and responded.“You just said my mind. You should have advised the Second in Command.”“The Head of State distorted his work after he submitted the list to him.”“Ha! He must have his reasons.”“What could be his reason? That was the man responsible for the scandal against him,” Tim blurted out.George was bewildered and he locked eyes with him.
