At The Auxiliary Armory PLC

After the Sales Manager left, George smiled at the General Manager and asked, “How many staff members were late to work today?”

He laughed happily before he answered, “None. That method worked.”

“That is good to hear. We are stepping up on punctuality.”

The General Manager gave him a questioning look and he explained, “From now onward, every staff member would be given a special treatment. They would be treated like the Kings and Queens that they are.”

“I'm lost,” Capt. Bolton furrowed his brow and asked.

“You don't have to be. Except for the management staff and senior staff members, the staff buses will pick everyone up from their various homes and take them back after work. What I am saying is as simple as that.”

“That is a good idea. It will save us the cost of maintaining the vehicles.”

“You got the President's perspective. For that reason, no company's vehicle leaves the premises today.”

“I got it. If I may ask, what if any senior staff wish to bene

At The HeadquartersThe Commandant was partially relieved after speaking with the Head of State some minutes ago. Nevertheless, his heart sank when he saw his call again. He wished that he could wake up from the bad dream and discover that all the problems had vanished. All the same, he picked up the call, cheered up, and greeted, “Hello, Your Excellency.”He held his breath and waited for the worst but was mistaken.“Don't worry yourself, Commandant. The boys are safe.”He wished he could say 'It is not true' or ask 'How do you know' but his next request indicated that there was a fire on the mountain.“Share the social media post about the students with me.”Without hesitation, he answered, “I will do that right away, Your Excellency.”The Head of State cut the call at once and began to wait. The Commandant quickly shared the post and gave himself a treat by having a sumptuous breakfast. Before he got the post, he sent for his Second in Command and he arrived at once. He looked at

Her answer was funny and everyone burst out laughing while George was undaunted. Tim looked at the two boys who were sleeping soundly before he smirked in satisfaction. Nevertheless, George did not find her response funny but slighting, which he would always attribute to his age. 'She has indirectly informed me that I am not her President,' he thought. “Go and eat at the Junior Staff Canteen. Your President will eat by himself when he comes,” he advised her dismissively and joined the General Manager at his table. At that point, all eyes were on her and she was unstable. She looked around the canteen, was embarrassed, and looked down immediately. Instantly, she got up. With her head bowed down, she walked to the Junior Staff Canteen where the same meal would be served.Meanwhile, Collins and his colleagues were there too. They never thought of eating at the Senior Staff Canteen not minding that they were of the same rank with George. Tim was having a good time when Dr. Morgan wal

Now that they were alone, Gerald could ask questions, “What happened, Brother-in-law? The news of your death is all over the place.”Tim gave him an encouraging smile and advised him, “Take a rest. There's so much to talk about.” “I got it …”He stopped abruptly when the door opened and Dr. Morgan walked in. Without sparing Tim a glance, he walked to Gerald's bed and pulled down the bottom lid of his eye to ascertain how healthy the underneath was. He nodded his head in satisfaction and said, “You are all right and fit to go home, young man.”Gerald smiled broadly and appreciated him, “Thank you, doctor. What about my brother?” He asked curiously.“He is fit to go home, too.”“It is all right. I will wait until he wakes up.”“It is okay. Just let me know when he wakes up.”“Okay doctor,” he answered and the doctor disconnected the drip.Nevertheless, Tim felt that Gerald should be starving and looked at the time.“It's just thirty minutes to 4 PM. George can close and come and pick m

“Ain't you going to the airport with Sgt. Young to pick up the President?” The Corporal looked into her eyes and asked her. To their confusion, George's attention was on Capt. Bruce. When he was through with the three cars, George faced Laura and advised, “Whether you are going to the airport to pick up the President or you wish to see the doctor, find your bus.”“Thank you for that, Capt. Bruce,” he appreciated him after he parked the last car.“It is my pleasure, Sgt. Young,” he responded and returned to the bus stands. They stood aside and watched the staff members filing into the buses.Meanwhile, Laura felt cheated and grumbled, “Are you the President? Don't you come to work in cars? Who gave you the right to stop me? We are both the Representatives of the President.”George who heard her ignored her and gave her the attitude of 'If the sun is not afraid of the moon, let it shine at night'.Within thirty minutes, the eighteen buses had left the premises and the senior staff membe

At The Auxiliary Armory PLCAfter Capt. Bruce and his colleagues laughed happily, they got into their cars and left but he stayed back to wait for the bus drivers to return and pick up the remaining staff members who were waiting in their offices. Presently, apart from Capt. Bruce and the security men, Laura was the only staff left on the premises and she was still throwing tantrums. They would not have wanted to send her away if she was not disturbing them but her cursing gave them an edge.“You can return to your office and wait like the others if you don't want to go home yet,” Cpl. Simpson informed her and the other security officers waited for her reaction. She looked at the unfriendly looking Corporal who would not have dared talk to her in the past and shifted away silently.Meanwhile, Capt. Bruce decided to remove the offending cars from the gate to the appropriate park and she was attracted by the sound. She walked up to him, and pleaded, “Capt. Bruce, kindly help me with th

Soon, Collins returned with the fulfilled boys.“We are back, Brother-in-law,” they informed him after they walked in happily. He turned off his device and got up at once. “That's good. Let's go to your room,” he said and led the way. They got upstairs, he took them to a big room and they were thrilled, “Wow! It is so big.”“This is your room. I hope you love it.”“Thank you, Brother-in-law. We love it.”“It is all right. Can I see what you got from the mall?” he requested and they showed him their scanty purchases which they did in consideration of his poverty. He smiled after inspecting them and asked, “Are you sure that this is all you need?”Gerald smiled softly and answered, “No, but we can do with them for now. Thank you for your kindness.”“Thank you, for this, Brother-in-law,” Samuel appreciated him too.“It is all right. Take your bath and change. Dinner will soon be ready.”“We got it,” they answered happily at the same time and Gerald walked into the bathroom while Ti

“The meal is fine,” Samuel answered and Tim asked again, “Will the authority permit you to return with your food?” “Not at all,” Gerald answered with emphasis.“It is against the rules. They will permit if someone like Big sister's boss talks to them on our behalf,” Samuel added.“It is all right. Eat your food,” he instructed and they continued. When they were satisfied, they stopped and expressed their delight, “Thank you, Brother-in-law, for the meal.”“You are welcome. Before you go to sleep, you will have some fruit. Did you get me?”“We got you, Brother-in-law,” they answered in unison, and Samuel gave him an askance look. Tim was aware that they had so much to ask him about their sister and he would not leave them guessing.“Why are you looking at me like that, Samuel?” he looked into his eyes and asked.Samuel was bashful because he was caught in the act. All the same, he asked, “Did you beat Big sister?”Tim was calm and his mind ran through the ugly incident of that day w

At Lt. Col. Smirnoff's ApartmentHe was thrilled with the post from the Second in Command and asked himself, “Oh, my God! How did he know that it was my handiwork?”He looked at the post again (Thank you for a good job) and was satisfied with himself.“Does that mean that he was not pleased with the Commandant either?” He thought. Then, his mind went to the cause of his bitterness against the Commandant, Lt. Col. Innocent Faber. He recalled vividly the day he informed him that the former one wished to resign due to health issues and the Head of State wished to replace him without delay.“Oh, my God! Has his health condition deteriorated to this point?” Innocent asked him with genuine concern for the welfare of the Commandant. “Yes. And I think the position is worth applying for."“Really?”“Yes. The position has plenty of benefits.”“Plenty of benefits? Is it better than our present positions?”“Of course. As the Commandant, you have the opportunity to prove yourself because you are

At The Complex Laura got up and walked to the door like a bulldog. The Corporal and warden gave way for her or she would have pounced on them. With that, she increased her offenses, and Jerry cashed in and whipped her legs with the horsewhip."Repeat after me, Miss Dickson. Say I will not disturb the peace of the complex again," he requested while flogging her."I will never disturb .... Hey!" She stopped and shrieked in pain.Jerry continued to flog her, and she continued to cry and repeat after him."Run for your life before I kill you. Silly girl," he shouted at her and she obeyed. George was happy to see her running out of the cell like a little mouse frightened out of the Queen's chair. She continued running towards the reception when Jerry joined George in the car and he turned on his ignition."Good job, Sergeant," he said and drove off.Nevertheless, she got to the lobby, and the new security team was surprised to see her running like a thief."What! What are you doing here?

He would have called Cpl. Simpson, who was on night duty, to release her, but it would not give him the satisfaction he wanted. Shortly after, he stormed out of his room, got the car keys from the hangar, and walked to the garage. His car alerted Collins and Jerry the moment he turned on his ignition. They walked out of the boys quarters and focused on him."We are going to the complex. Hop in if you are ready," he informed them. They were troubled and did not want to keep him longer than necessary. Jerry was on his khaki pants and camouflage shirt. Collins was putting on the same shirts upon knickers and was not comfortable with it."I will change to trousers," he said and walked away.Jerry got into the front seat, looked at George's sad face, and inquired, "I hope there's no problem?""The boss said we should release that wrench in the guard room.""Ha! You can ask the Corporal to release her," he advised him."I would have done that not until I lay my hands on her, and she would r

He furrowed his brow when he saw her in the kitchen preparing her dinner."Why doesn't she live in a big house and have security guards and a cook like Laura? At least a cook," he thought."Something should be done about it," he concluded. After he left the parlor, George sat on the couch to wait for him. At that point, he got a message from his father. He relaxed and punched on it. A wide smile covered his face while he was reading through it."She will never stay without trouble," he said when he read that Laura was arrested that morning. In the end, he said, "She would soon be working to finance bills that she incurred out of stupidity."At that point, Tim joined him and they walked to the dining table."How was your meeting with the Major General?" "It went well. Empress has grown lean," he pointed out and George was lost."What has Empress got to do with your meeting?" He asked him at once."Oh! I didn't inform you. The meeting was because of them. She fought with her instructor

To extricate herself, she answered at once, "No, Sir.""Then what happened? Don't keep me here longer than I wish," Dale thundered, and she was fear-stricken. "I apologize, Boss. I agreed with her and watched her walk to her husband. When she was sitting with him in the car, I called Mrs Bentley and showed her the two. She was surprised to see them discussing freely. When she returned, Mrs. Bentley did not bother to verify whether it was true or false."She stopped and looked at Richard who had killing intentions on his face. Tim was relishing the story and hated it when she stopped. He hit his hand on the table angrily and shouted at her, "Then what happened?"Although, they were not familiar with Tim's identity they believed that he was an important person to Dale.Instantly, she continued, "She gave her a knife hand strike. Before she could defend herself, she struck her with her shinbone and they began to fight."They focused on Empress who was still looking down. They compared

"I hope she is all right," he said and was restless. Before Tim walked to the foyer, he remembered Dale's summons to Richard's wife. He looked at his time and mumbled, "I would like to be there."He walked to his room and before he settled down, he heard a knock on the door."Come in, the door is not locked," he said, and George walked in with his stoic face."What is the matter. You scared the farmers away with your look," he made clear to him.He smiled weakly and asked him, "Did I? Miss Dickson attacked her colleague and injured her."Tim furrowed and dismissed him, "I have a meeting with Dale. We will talk about it when I return.""I got it, Boss," he said and returned to his room.Tim lay on the bed, breathed heavily, and asked himself, "What is wrong with this girl? Sacking her would not favor me otherwise, I would have done that."He thought for a while and resolved, "I know what to do?"Likewise, he rested for a while and got up. To Valentine, Tim may sound boastful but Ambrose knew better. "What do you think, Ambrose? Do we employ another person for that?" Richard asked him."No, Major. I can handle it."He faced Tim, smiled, and undertook, "I got it, Boss. We won't let the Third in Command down.""If you say so.""That is good to hear. Let's see the farmers," Richard said and moved. They followed him at once and walked to the farm. Since the incident of Monday, the farmers had not seen Tim and Richard. They stopped work when they saw them and greeted them accordingly."Good afternoon to you all," they responded simultaneously.Tim stepped aside and Richard addressed them, "Thank you all for your patience."Meanwhile, George, the General Manager, and the team arrived and parked beside the clunker. They got out of the car immediately and George tried to walk to the estate."They are at the farm, Major," one of the security guards informed him after the salutations."Thank you for informing me," he said and mo

At The Complex At lunch, Laura was not back, and Barbara took the initiative. She informed the Corporal of her intentions to be away for lunch and left. She returned at once with her packed food and ate in the cubicle. George and Bright met the General Manager in the elevator and informed him of the arrival of the machines."That is good to hear. I would love to see them. Or what do you think?""I planned to visit there after lunch. We can go together then," he declared. Now, the elevator door opened and they walked out."That is better," the General Manager said and they walked on.Soon, they were at the canteen. They had the meal happily and avoided discussing their proposed visit to the mining field. Their reasons were simple - to avoid luring the other managers from volunteering to come with them. Afterward, they returned to their offices and hoped to leave at 2 PM.Nevertheless, the exhausted Laura returned a few minutes before 2 PM. As for lunch, she was aware that she had miss

At Mount Olive "Kindly get your attorney, Young lady," the officer advised Laura."I was wrong, Officer. I shouldn't have missed my way," she declared, concealing her motive for visiting the palace. The officer pouted, gave her the statement paper, and said, "Write all you could remember about the incident here."Now, she was conscious of her office and afraid that she might be too late to work. She looked at the time and it was a few minutes before 9 AM.'Barbara would be happy to see me punished if I am late to work,' she lamented and began to write her statement quickly."I'm through, Officer," she showed her the statement and announced. She collected it, looked through it, and informed her, "The DPO is in a meeting. I will submit it to him after that."Instantly, she began to fidget and asked her, "Huh! When will that be? She saw herself walking into the palace and was covered with sweat immediately. The officer was calm and watching the television as well. She switched her look from the television to the officer. When she got to the point, she said, 'I'm in the wrong place,' she looked down and pursed her lips to suppress her nervousness.'Ella must have done this. The Duke does not know my house and could not have gotten my address,' she thought. The officer picked up her form and looked at it. Without any signs of anger, she said, "Your workplace on the form is different from what you said in the footage."'Why can't I get it right? Why can't I get what I want?' she asked herself in low spirits."Did you get my question?" The officer asked her when she failed to answer her."I apologize, officer. We can talk it over," she pleaded, hoping to bribe her.At Tim's House "Just calm down. Everything will be sorted out shortly," Tim advised Richard and they began to wait."Do you mind breakfast?"
