Meanwhile, Ambrose had sat up and was waiting for the medical gadgets to be removed. The driver looked into his wet eyes and wondered why he was not happy. Instantly, he pulled out the gadgets and adjusted his hospital clothes.

“Kindly send for the stretcher,” Dr. Robinson requested and Dr. Edward obeyed.

“Ask the mortician to get ready, please,” he faced Dr. Raphael and pleaded.

Ambrose got out of the ambulance and Tim led the way. To say that the doctors and Michael were befuddled was an understatement. The driver tried to support him since Tim and Richard were unwilling to do so but he declined.

“Don't bother yourself, Sir. I will be fine,” he said and walked on.

At that moment, the doctors were back to the verandah, and they saw them.

“What happened?” They asked in astonishment.

Michael, who bent his head and was weeping, looked up and saw them. He was scared and ran into the reception and stopped when the doctors did not run.
