I and Chad watched as Ethan and Eric fought the men desperately.

I could see Chad was itching to move so he would go help them from their predicament but I stopped him.

We couldn't just help them like that. We had to make them lose all hope of someone coming to help them or else our help to them wouldn't be valid.

They might try to say they wanted to know who we were and who sent us.
