I observe the movement of the zombie at the back and wait for the moment where it looks at the back

not even a wink can stop my focus, seconds by seconds and the zombie is slowly moving

and it turns back!

without wasting a moment I suddenly move forward to the horde

but

*rrrooaarr!!!*

there is a zombie in front of me!!!

I didn't notice it due to I was too focused on the back zombie

"I can't stop my momentum now!!!"- John Carl

the zombie is attacking now!

using a grabbing motion it is planning to take me down

"no!"- John Carl

using my reflexes I smash sideways the zombie

*rrroooaarrr!!!*

the zombie smash sideways but the hoard hears the commotion and now their moving closer to me in fast motion

gripping to my accumulated courage, I shout!

"batman I trust you!!!!!"- John Carl

I run towards the zombies, in the moment of collision

I block the zombie's neck using my long stick, I manage to block the 4 zombies that are approaching me

but there is one missing!!

this zombie is smaller than the rest and was below the reach of the long stick!

"f*ck!"- John Carl

the smaller zombie planning now to bite me in my stomach area

therefore I jump backward and because it below in the upward slope plus the force of zombies trying to reach me, they stumble and accidentally slam the small zombie

without a moment of rest, I dodge them and rush upward

but when I reach Elna Eatery, I found out there are more zombies there because the hospital is near the Brgy hall!!

"I'm f*ck up"- John Carl

as watch the horde of zombies wandering around the area, the courage that I build up suddenly gone

and I lost the grip of my long stick

*tug*

with a one sound all of the zombies that are manifesting the area, looks at me suddenly!

and because of this, my senses come back to me!

"ohh mmmyyyyy... come onnnn"- John Carl

I want to cry desperately but

the zombies are rushing to me like a tsunami of dead people

I quickly runs to the left and luckily found the gate of dulalia homes

*rrrooaarr*

*rrooaaarrr*

*rroaar*

*rroaarrr*

"god god god god! save me!!!"- John Carl

without pause, I jump and grab the top of the gate and carry myself upwards

after carrying myself at the top of the gate

I jump down to the other but the zombies arrive at the gate sooner and they're pushing it hard!

only witnessing them scares me to the bones and now seeing this number of zombies! I just want to fly away!

"waaa!!!"- John Carl

I ran as fast as I could at the left side of the street until I found the wall that is separating the 1st street and dulalia homes

I sprint right and go inside the near open space area and climb the wall as soon as possible

luckily they are still pushing the gate and still not coming inside!

after climbing down in the wall

I immediately sit down due to exhaustion

"ha... ha... ha... now where is the way..."- John Carl

as I checking the surrounding and remembering where am I, my feet shake really strong that continues towards my whole body

if this is a nightmare please god let me wake me up soon!

as I remember this area

it is very dangerous continuing the route of 1st street due to the road is too narrow and ill be finish if I've surrounded by a hoard of zombies

as I realize this and I have to go near the barangay hall, I just shake my head and sigh a very long one

hayyyyyyyyyyyyyy...

"no choice I need to go at the entrance of 1st street... ha..."- John Carl

There is something strange, I feel that something is changed in my body, in just a minute my exhaustion is gone and I'm not that too tired too

I don't remember having a strong lungs

"ill think about it next time, the goal is back to my home and go to Mary Ann"- John Carl

crouching silently near the wall, the zombies at the dulalia homes are starting to become less noisy

luckily I don't found any zombie along the way to the entrance

but when I try to sneak peek at the direction of Brgy hall there were still too many hoards of zombies!

maybe there are hundreds of them there

the road is full of stranded car, jeepney, and truck

there were some motorcycle but if I use it, it is too hard to do some maneuvers due to the clogged road, plus the zombies won't give me a chance to run if they heard the sound of the engine

it is better to walk silently, hope that I won't encounter a horde

now that i don't have any weapon, it will be too hard to go home

realizing my wrong, I should not drop my long baton...

arrggg

"I will not surrender now, I have my goals!"- John Carl

being able to play different zombie survival games, I know to myself that Im a veteran already!

with this confidence, I continue my way towards my home

I use the cars that are blocking the road as a barricade so that i can hide easily

*rroarrr*

*grroarr*

but when I am successfully advancing, I feel that God is forsaking me

there are some zombies that are inside some of the cars

while walking those zombies are keep growling at me like they are irritated with me

creating a ruckus inside the car some zombies are rushing towards it!

"hey don't growl at me I'm just passing by okay"- John Carl

it was pretty scary not just because they're face is rotting but there is a possibility that some zombies will attack me on my blind spot

currently, I'm at the Urrutia st. thankfully I've successfully avoided some hoards of zombies

but with some fighting (running, crawling, and crouching)

though it is an actual fight being able to survive means I'm fighting for my life!

"along the way, I can see some familiar face that became zombies"- John Carl

there is this sting of pain in my heart seeing them becomes a zombie

in the side of a jeepney, I am carefully moving forward step by step

but as soon as I walk carelessly

*rroooarr!!!*

I bump into a zombie that is walking like a dog!

it bites me immediately but not to avail

but my dodge was too fast and due to the momentum of my movement

*bag!!!*

I've to slam at the jeepney nearby!

which causes a loud noise

"FUCK!"- John Carl

from the noise, I know that the zombies are coming from here!!

I kick the head of the crawling zombie and sprint forward

there were zombies in front that jumping at me using their own momentum, I push them away and continue my run!

from many meters away

"uuuuu!!! a crazy person is attracting too many zombies that are approaching here!" 1?

"Uncle Sunny gives us the smoke grenade, should we use it?"- 2?

"yes the more manpower the higher chance of us surviving in this calamity"- 3?

breathing hard and sweating fast without looking back to anything I sprint forward!

because of my idiocy, my shouts attract the zombies nearby!

gulping, I just scream on my own, the fear of being eaten alive was the only thing that keeps me running and escapes the hordes of zombies

the zombies were fast, and any seconds they are getting to caught me!

I'm just in the BSOP area, my home is not that near!!

the zombies from the nearby areas are also attacking me!

to my surprise, my exhaustion suddenly vanish!

but my head is hurting the longer I run!

to what I know, my lungs should be the one that is hurting from tiredness but why my brain is the one that is hurting!

I've passed by FEBIAS COLLEGE but the zombies are near and I can hear their growling clearly

is this the end...

God help me...

my head is hurting too much now...

slowly and my consciousness will fade away...

"THROW!!!"

"RUN FASTER!!!"

my vision is spinning already

before I close my eyes I heard someone's yelling

and some smoke cover my view

and before I know it I've been unconscious already

my consciousness is slowly possessing my body again

I can hear clearly the peoples talking and also their voice is very familiar

as I open my eyes slowly and i can see a face that really looks familiar

that nose... eyes... lips... eyebrow... also that shape of face it looks like

as I shout the name of the girl in front of me, she was shocked!

"WAA!!!!"- Dessa

I sit suddenly when I saw her face

"is that really you Dessa!!?"- John Carl

I hold his face firmly and pinching its chubby cheeks

the girl in front of me suddenly stand frozen and her face suddenly turns red!

and a sudden slap arrives at my face!

the girl is glaring at me with irritated brows towards me

"Why are you touching my face! and who are you!? why you look like someone we know!"- Dessa

the girl suddenly steps back and looks at me in disgust

"stay away from my Kaye! who are you for real!? John Carl is already dead a month ago!"- Christian

in his face, I knew he is believing me!

"tell us first something that John Carl and I only know"- Christian. his eyes were having a little doubt

because of this I tell them the most embarrassing that we have done together so that I can gain his trust

"uuuuuu.. its really John Carl!"- David. his face was full of terror and doubt

"how come you're back to life John Carl and also you are wearing your funeral clothes!"- Christian. he clicks his tongue while talking

"isn't it... you're a ZOMBIE!!"- Kaye, she raises her guard and brings out a knife from her waist

suddenly all of them are glaring at me

"no no no no I'm not!! look! look my eyes are black! those zombies eyes are red and they are rotting already!"- John Carl

the suspicion in Dessa's eyes suddenly loosen

"hmmmm you look like a normal person to me"- Dessa, she keeps observing me even though I've explained to them everything

"See, see I'm still a human being!"- John Carl, I keep telling them that I'm a real human but their doubts never cease

David replied to me. "then what is your system status?"

I furrowed my forehead and ask. "ha? system what?"
