TWENTY ONE DAYS

Leonardo watched as Arya hummed a song he was not familiar with. How could she just pretend like she did not just see a man blow into pieces.

She had just fed the babies, who by the way had turned a month old, and put them back to sleep. The nannies came in and pushed the baby carts to their grandparents side of the villa.

His soldiers followed after. He was not taking any chances with the babies safety even inside his own casa.

He made sure the door was locked before speaking up.

“What are you doing?”, he asked.

“Watching the babies through the cctv”, she said and continued humming.

He hesitated. “A man just blew up in pieces, Arya”, he said.

“I know”, she responded nonchalantly.

He blinked. “Okay, what’s up with this new Arya?”.

She looked at him. “What do you mean?.”

“I know you are not okay with it. You are hurting and you’re acting tough”, he said.
