BUSINESS DEAL

A frown appeared on Lima’s face, disgust following after. She was sick of Manuel.

“Is he coming to hit you? The car is here, we should leave”, Rupert said, panicking.

“Oh, be a man, Rupert. If I am assuming he is going to hit me, it’s the same as him doing it. I’d rather see if he would dare hit me”, she said.

Manuel finally reached her. He towered over her with angry boldly inscribed on his face. He raised his hand to strike her but she caught it just in time.

“You dare raise your hand to me?”, she asked.

“How dare you double cross me, you whore?”, he asked back.

“Double cross you? You think I don’t know the only reason you brought me here was to be your collateral damage, huh?”, she fired back.

Manuel was surprised. “But…”

“But nothing, Manuel. I haven’t forgotten how you treated me or my sisters. You wanted to play me but you got played instead”, she said and dropped his hand like garbage.
