Chapter Twenty Six

She was angry at herself, why was she unable to control her baser instincts and let him use her like a whore, the old man had been right about her, it was all she was fit for. She raced up to the top of the mountain and stopped panting heavily looking around her everything seemed different, the air she breathed had changed, all her senses were heightened and she was terrified by it. Eventually, she found a small clearing with a grassy knoll in the centre she scoped it out, determined not to be caught again. Leaping onto the top of the knoll she looked around and lifted her head, she could scent nothing threatening and curled up to sleep shifting back into her human form she cried softly. She dreamed of running with her Wolf the sun shone and she was happy but a shadow appeared clouding everything and draining all the joy from her.

Nope. She marked and mated now. No wolf should want to go anywhere near her. Pheromones to attract unmated males? You just lost me on this story. Not only that. But she’s being ridiculously idiotic. If she’s had a wolf all this time…nope
