Chapter One Hundred and Twelve

Melody did the bare minimum of what was expected of her as her body healed quickly from birth she returned to training and patrolling the same day, The Pack was surprised Loki allowed it but in truth, he had no choice, Kelly had warned him if he tried to force Melody to be a ‘Mother’ it would almost certainly break the tenuous bond she had with both him and their son forever.

She was out on patrol a couple of months later sitting on a huge boulder high up in the mountains surveying the Pack lands below her looking for anything unusual. The other members of her patrol were spread out nearby, all of them doing the same thing watching and protecting their Land. It was quiet and Melody signalled for the patrol to stand down for a short break resting her head on her paws she closed her eyes briefly with a sigh,
