This was my grand plan and I knew that it would work. The most important person to Xavier is Scarlett and he would never let any harm come to his mate. She proudly bore his mark and had his love which made her the most important person in the pack.

She's his strength and one's strength could become one's weakness and that was the case of Xavier. He might be one of the strongest and ruthless Alphas but his one weakness stood before me.
