Chapter Sixty

Amante POV

It took two days and a night to reach the island the Lausanne had me banished into. It was a rough sail with a rude Aswang as the captain of a squeaking rust, Dufor 29 sailboat. He made sure my journey was nothing but adventurous.

We were met by waves with the size of a mature birch tree. The boat was consecutively being tossed around like a dirt bag in a raging water of a riverbed.

He had chuckled maniacally all throughout the menacing waves and blurted it was that fish-of-a-gun rival of mine that was responsible for our tricky trip.

This said competition must be anything but a fair game. I was sent by myself, though Amaltheo, as a part of me, draw back inside his sheltered abode inside my mind.

That limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animal with gills and fins and living wholly in water, called Tarif or whatever, has its own way of coming into the island.

It was so obvious
