“Crashing down life’s lonesome highway, I secretly hope I don’t fall apart.”

Daisy’s POV

I tried to keep a positive demeanor after the devastating day I had. Priya and I had spent the night gossiping about everything we could that was under the sun.

Her stories had distracted my mind, and her contagious laugh had brought light to my eyes once again.

“Daisy,” Miss Amy called, snapping my attention back to reality.

My cheeks flushed in embarrassment as I noticed their gazes were fixed in me. “Sorry,” I whispered, clearing my throat and sat up straighter.

Miss Amy nodded, “as I was saying, Daisy and Jade you will helping during the picnic,”

My brows furrowed, I wanted to ask what picnic, the confused look on my face was almost comical, I had spent an entire hour lost in my head.
