“There’s one more thing I would like to show you,” Hades said, wrapping his fingers around mine.

The nervous look on his face had returned, and I wondered what he was up to again.

Hades had given me enough, the house, a place for us to feel like a family rather than just roommates was enough.

“I know how flowers are like your favorite things in the world, and I want you to have that every time, you can just have a sense of it closer to you,” Hades rambled, slowly placing me on his laps.
