Zayne's POV

Holding my nose tightly to ward off the strong scent of blood , I slowly moved closer to the body on the porch. The body seemed to have been slashed across the throat by the claws of an animal. A werewolf.

It was when I looked very closely that I noticed the person seemed familiar.

My eyes widened when I recognized him as Mark, Dylan's brother. I quickly glanced around me , inhaling the air , trying to see if there was anybody in sight and at the same time trying to catch any scent that could point out the culprit.

It was very obvious at this point that someone out there was trying to play games with me. The person , who is a werewolf , is intentionally killing people who are related to or had related with me one way or the other , so I would be suspected as the culprits of the murder.

Then I remembered Garrett's words about how a powerful werewolf and someone he would accept as his son in-law , must have a cruel image , the image of a murderer. What if my father...?
