GREY'S POV

I felt someone on top of me, the scent unfamiliar, hands roamed my body in seduction, but I was occupied with dizziness. My head ached from so much work and thinking and strategizing. After the entire night of dealing with the rogues, I decided to have a cup of coffee when I got back. Fortunately for me Angie was right in the kitchen making coffee for... surprisingly me. Didn't know how she knew that I needed it but I collected it and thanked her anyways.

The next thing I know, is that I'm in my room, with absolutely nothing on and a woman is on top of me that doesn't have the same scent as Bloom. And I had to be honest that I didn't know what to do at the moment, I was totally helpless. I couldn't even reach my wolf, he was shut out. Fuck those hands were going further downwards and if I didn't stop this now this person would get a hang of me. But I was paralysed. My eyes were closed. It was as though I was having sleep paralysis but I sure as hell wasn't. The coffee I'd d

GREYThe sound of my wolf howling almost made me stop running, but I couldn’t. Not before I got to Bloom. I felt every pain, heard every cry, and I had to remind myself to breathe or I would have choked. This had to be one of the worst things I’d experienced. I continued running when another scream echoed in the air. It was a scream of agony. Finally, after what felt like torture, I came across Bloom and stopped. Lying on the harsh ground of the forest, she was writhing in pain, her face contorted as she tried to push the baby out. “You can do it, Luna,” the female nurse kneeling next to her tried to calm her down. Bloom’s eyes found mine, and my heart almost gave out when I saw how weak they were. They fluttered open and closed like she was about to give up. “No!” I didn’t say that aloud, but I shook my head, trying to make her stay awake. Of all things, at that moment, I wished I could take away all her pain. But that wasn’t possible.“Luna!” My gaze turned to the nurse who was

BLOOMIt was relieving to have Grey beside me. It’d been about an hour since the contractions started and Grey returned from his hunt, and I wasn’t sure how much longer it would take. At that moment, I wish I had known to prepare myself for the pain I was going to experience. I bit down my lower lip to stop myself from crying out as another wave of contraction hit. Grey noticed this, and his eyes widened in worry. I wanted to reach for his forehead and rub away those creases, and I wanted to assure him that everything was okay, but I wasn’t even sure of that myself. Under the doctor’s instruction, the nurses kept checking if I was ready, and their heads shook and shared looks told me that I wasn’t. It was a struggle to keep my eyes open at this point, as the doctor asked questions relating to how I was feeling. Every surge of pain intensified my uncertainty and fear. I needed a voice of reassurance to just guide me through the labyrinth of my emotions. As more time went by, I could

GREYSounds of celebration filled the Pack as the news of Bloom’s safe delivery spread, but there was one negative energy in the midst of the positive ones, and I could feel it all the way from where I was. Her father had said nothing even after we informed him of the news which was quite suspicious. It was obvious even from the beginning that she was there for a purpose, and it wasn’t here to help with the rogue issue. The Alpha of Orion had probably sent her to be a spy, and even upon sending news of her detainment to him, he didn’t seem to care. And so for the time being when everyone else was busy preparing for Bloom’s delivery, I sent Leo to do a little digging for me. It was when I figured out what was really going on. As I walked into the torture room, my gaze fell on the woman chained to a corner, the woman whose father refused to pay any attention to her. It kind of reminded me of Bloom’s situation. Her father never loved her enough to protect her even though she had done a

BLOOM'S POVI heard it, and so now we couldn't punish her the way we wanted to. Angie, pregnant with the alpha's child....my mate's child? I chuckled to myself in the mirror. It was so hard to believe, but then we needed to be sure that she was telling the truth, so we had to call the doctor to check on her. I could smell the difference in her scent, but I refused to believe it until it was confirmed. After the check-up, Grey and I waited for the news while I held our baby in my hands. The doctor walked out of the torture room, his eyes narrowing between me and Grey but with that of submissiveness. He bowed a little and nodded. My eyes widened at this discovery. I glanced at Grey, but he said nothing. I didn't think he had anything to say either. But we just had a child delivered and now a home wrecker walked into our home to destroy the peace between the both of us. I was wounded beyond what I could even explain. But it was my fault. I should have listened to my instincts when they

Bloom's PovGrey looked like he was a second away from ripping her head off. I was very sure that was the exact look I had on my face as well. I had people behind me anyways, that stopped me from making any further movements towards her. Like what the fuck?! I glared at her and could just imagine throwing her to the wall without caring whether or not she had a child. But I had to control my urges before I did something I'd regret. My wolf growled in my head. I pushed her back so she wouldn't take control of my body. This fool was trying to get my man to look at her. And here I was doing nothing about it. I growled while the guards were ready to hold me when the need be. They knew I'd kill her without effort. She stayed there staring innocently like a damsel in distress. What the fuck was she even thinking. That she can take my place? As what exactly? The Luna?"Get the fuck out of this place Angie," Grey growled. Even his wolf threatened to show up if Grey did nothing about this. But

BLOOMMy mind was on Angie. There was no telling what she was up to, and as much as I wanted to keep an eye on her every moment, I didn’t have any time for that. My gaze returned back to my sleeping child. My precious daughter, my Angel who I wanted to protect. I reached out to touch her toes when the door opened and Grey walked in. The weariness on his face and his tousled hair all pointed to the fact that he’d been up all night, but somehow even with all that, he still managed to look so attractive. After kissing me on the lips, he put out a finger to touch our daughter’s face, before sitting next to me on the bed and resting his head on my lap. “Did you find anything out last night?” I asked as I ran my fingers slowly through his hair. “Hmm.” Grey nodded. “Ray got more information about the rogue camp, and it was just as I thought. It’s clear now that Lewis is the leader of the rogues. We can’t just sit back and watch without doing anything. We need to strategize a way to capture

BLOOMThe next morning, Grey and I set out for Montrose Pack after receiving news of a rogue attack. Upon our arrival, I was shocked at the sight we met. The rogues' attack had completely brought down the place. They left nothing standing. They had left so many survivors. Tears filled my eyes as I looked around. While this place had never been a home to me, it was still where I grew up and spent most of my life in, so it left me feeling broken. As I got to the place where the Alpha’s mansion once stood, my vision became blurry with tears. Most of the building had been reduced to debris. Remembering that my father used to keep a diary, I shifted into my wolf and sniffed the ground, searching for the book in the ruins. I moved through the rubble in my wolf form, my heightened senses picking up on scents, most of them being my father’s. As my paws trod upon the scorched ground, I spotted a fragment of charred wood that was etched with familiar markings and knew it was a scorched corner

BLOOMUpon getting back to the Pack with Grey, I had reached the top of the stairs when I heard a feminine exclamation and turned around to see Angie clinging to Grey like a damsel in distress. Grey’s face was pulled back as he looked at her with disdain. Physical touches in general made him uncomfortable, so to be touched by someone he didn’t like must feel highly unpleasant.“I’ve not been feeling good these days, and still, you don’t pay me any attention. Do you still not believe the child I’m carrying is yours?”My hands squeezed into fists by my side and I gritted my teeth as I watched Angie caress Grey’s arms while batting her eyelashes. I was about to walk down the stairs and pull her away from him when someone caught my arm. Looking back, I saw Rich shaking his head at me. He seemed to know that if I got close enough to her, I might kill her. I couldn’t stand watching her do that to him. GREYSomeone was crying. Whoever it was, I knew it was because of me, so I tried to open my eyes to see what the matter was, but when I felt a wave of pain go through me, I held my breath and waited for the pain to subside for what seemed like an eternity. Then I tried again. This time, I was successful. Bloom. She sat in a chair beside me, her head in my hands as she sobbed. “Bloom?” My voice didn’t sound like me. It sounded gravely and thin. Her head lifted as she gasped. I saw the moment her expression changed from worry to relief. “Grey? You’re awake?” I gave her a small nod and didn’t say anything. I held her hand, and I knew she understood me. “What about the Pack? And everyone?”“They’re all safe. You defeated our worst enemies,” Bloom said and I nodded just as the memories of the battle flooded back to me. The pain of Orion’s clawing through me came back. I didn’t even realize how Orion’s presence had been weighing heavily on me, but now that he was gone, I was finally able

GREYCapturing the children and women while I was still here? What sort of a sick plan was that? It seemed like I’d been too easy on Orion for him to think he could get away with that. Well, he had another thing coming. “Are the weapons ready?” “Yes, Alpha!” My army of wolves chorused. I got up from where I was and led them toward Orion Pack. They planned to evade ours anyway, why shouldn’t we do the same to them? When we arrived, not only were Orion’s wolves waiting, but also the rogues. “You could have chosen to do this in a better way, you know that Alpha Orion? You just had to get on my nerves.” I looked at the wolves and they didn’t waste any time in lighting the Pack up. We were going to be exactly like the rogues this evening and no-fucking-body was going to stop us. “Do you think I’m going to give in?” Alpha Orion roared from his balcony, his eyes glowing red with rage. “We will fight back!” His wolves were taken aback by his sudden change in attitude, even the Pack members

BLOOMGrey and I followed after Ray to find out what he was talking about, and were met with a shocking scene. He led us into a room, and as he closed the door behind us. Other than a lamp on the table, it was completely dark. But that wasn’t the surprising part. That would be Angie tied to a chair. Turning sideways slightly to look at Grey, I thought, What plan did they have up their sleeves this time?“I just found out the truth,” Ray said. “The child in her womb isn’t yours, Alpha Grey, she has only been trying to get you to marry her.” It was a blatant lie but Ray had no idea we knew the truth. Where was he headed with this? I looked at him briefly before fixing my gaze back on Angie. What did they have up their sleeves now?“She lied about you getting her pregnant so her child can take ownership of your seat before anyone else’s,” Ray added, and while I already knew this, it didn’t stop me feeling angry. Leaning forward, I grabbed her jaw, looking her in the eyes. It was then I

GREY“You know who this letter is from, Grey. I gave you an option of leaving your Pack peacefully, I guess you have turned down my kindness. Now I have no choice but to show you what I can do. Need I remind you that before now I’ve known and watched you for years? It goes without saying that I know your moves, every single one of them. I’ll invade your Pack relentlessly. Take this letter as a warning of what is to come. You’ve been a thorn in my side right from the time I used to be under your command. I made plans I was sure would completely destroy you and your Pack. How you survived remains a miracle… No, I’m certain your pretty little mate helped you with that. I should have stabbed you harder that day in the forest. Anyways, as you might already know, Leo, Stephan, and I plotted your downfall with the help of the Alpha of Orion. He supported us, giving us the power we needed to destroy your Pack. Now, I won’t back down until you’re six feet below the earth, Grey, and this time

BLOOMAs I shared what I heard with Grey, he stared straight at the wall with an expression of fury. Who could blame him for that reaction when he just found out the woman who claimed to be carrying his child, a child he had been fully prepared to accept, was lying to him? And not just that, but the actual father happened to be his Beta, Ray. “I knew there was something off about him.”I sat next to him, placing my hand on top of his. “Please before handling this case, you need to first be calm.”He turned to me with an angry look, but I knew it wasn’t directed at me. “He’s trying to have you by all means. You don’t expect me to sit and watch.”“We have more pressing matters at hand, Grey. They might have plotted against you, but they’re not dumb to believe they don’t need you. Think about it. The issue of the rogues is still on the ground so they can’t act without thinking. They’ll have to wait for the right time,” I explained. “Let’s also be strategic. I understand how you feel. I a
