BLOOM

Watching Grey fight Stefan was terrifying. Stefan tried hard to push Grey off of him, but Grey was the bigger and stronger wolf, so instead of Stefan getting the upper hand over him, he was pushed to the ground.

Grey’s wolf stood over Stefan’s, and even in wolf form, the fear in Stefan’s eyes was visible. Grey then looked up, his eyes making contact with the other man standing to the side, and the maliciousness in his eyes stunned me. If looks could kill, the other man would be dead already. The aura flowing from Grey was so powerful and intense that I had to move backwards.

I saw the fear in the eyes of the other man before he shifted and ran off. Cecily followed after him, Stefan also, once he was able to get up. But even as the dust settled, the tension was still present. I had a feeling that this conflict was far from over.

Looking back at Grey, whose breath came out harshly, his anger radiating from every pore, I couldn’t help but wonder what had caused such intense ani

GREYRay was still speaking with me about the progress of the Pack repairs, but I couldn’t concentrate. Bloom. I knew she was standing outside, listening to our conversation, and I could feel the anger and sadness bubbling inside her. Focusing my attention back on the request for an alliance that came from Montrose Pack, I started to rethink my choice. The Alpha of Monstrose Pack made life a living hell for his daughter, and that was the worst choice he ever made. When I sensed that Bloom had gone back to the room, I raised a hand to stop Ray. “Let’s continue this discussion another time.” My Beta nodded with apparent understanding and excused himself. After he left, I stood up to go check on Bloom. When I got to the door, I stopped at the threshold and peeked in hesitantly. She was lying on the bed, a duvet covering her completely like she was cold, and that broke my heart. I closed the door gently behind me after walking in and stood by the door. “Bloom…”The corner of the duve

GREYAll the Alphas from the different Packs had finally arrived. So many of them were gathered and sat around the round table, but my attention was on one person in particular. The reason Bloom wasn’t present at the meeting. The Alpha of Montrose Pack. He laughed as he discussed something with some other Alphas, and a frown crossed my face. When I asked Bloom if she wanted me to request her father’s request for alliance, she didn’t say anything. My eyes roamed the room and fell on the Alpha of Orion, and seated to his left was his daughter. She had an obedient smile as she listened attentively to him and what the other Alphas around. Stefan and Lewis were also present for some reason, and they… I really didn’t even know what to say about them. They weren’t doing anything.I sighed, turning my gaze to Ray and Richmond who were discussing next to me, and hardened my face before standing. The Alpha trusted me enough to send their request of alliance to my Pack, and the weight of that

BLOOMIt took everything in me not to just walk past my father, but I stopped next to him and met his pleading eyes. Whatever he wanted to say, I hope he made it short. I didn’t want to listen to him any longer than I had to. Seeing him reminded me of the painful past I wanted to forget. “Bloom, can we talk? I can’t stand you avoiding me because of how reckless I was.” Unexpectedly, my father’s voice came out choked like he was holding his emotions back.I sucked in a harsh breath and glared at him. “What makes you think I want to talk with you about anything?”“Bloom.” There it was again. My name on his lips. As a child, I had done everything to make him call me by my name instead of the ugly words he called me, but now him freely saying my name annoyed me. “I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have blamed you for your mother’s death. I shouldn’t have hurt you, and I shouldn’t have let others hurt you. I don’t want to make excuses for myself, but you have to understand where I am comin

BLOOM“I don’t trust her. Why did you even agree to let her stay here?” We were downstairs. Kelvin and Celeb were having a conversation at the dining table, while Kate was paying extra attention to Greg. The attack had slightly traumatized him. At Richmond’s question, I exhaled a sigh. We were standing a few feet away from where the others were. “She seems to have knowledge about this issue. We need people like her here.”“Yeah but, she’s from Alpha Orion, his daughter,” Rich placed emphasis on the last word as if to remind me of the fact, but it’s all I had been thinking of. “Also, her father wanted Grey to marry her. I’m sorry, but I just don’t trust that she doesn’t have ulterior motives.” Thanks to Rich, I was having second thoughts about my choice, but it was too late. I had given Grey the go-ahead, and he already directed Ray to take her around the Pack.“Are you sure about this?”I wanted to say I wasn’t sure which was the honest truth, but instead, I replied with, “Grey and

GREY'S POV"I just want to say thank you so much Alpha Grey for letting me stay here," Angies stated with a smile and I seriously wasn't interested in seeing anybody at the moment. I glanced up at her and she smiled. I didn't return the gesture.Thank my wife. She was the one who agreed to let you stay here." I stated before returning back to what I was doing. "They were also discussing something earlier about the pack. I think it's concerning you, or about the rogues but they wanted to keep it away from you." I glanced up at her with cocked brows. "Oh right, I don't know if I should say this but I think she went to practice with Ray. They were kind of intimate, I wouldn't have guessed it was your mate if I hadn't known." She said and I rose from my seat, there was no fucking way I was allowing that to happen. Not on my watch. She followed me out of my office while I strode down the corridor towards the training arena. The moment I stepped into the room and noticed how dangerousl

BLOOM'S POVI woke up sore... breathing heavily as I turned from side to side, trying to find a comfortable position, but then I noticed his hands were wrapped around me. He groaned when I moved a little too sharply. I nearly gasped when I realized what was poking me. No wonder why he groaned, he still had a boner. I gently raised his hand and placed it beside him so I could get off the bed. I got out of bed and decided to take a shower. The water descended on my body, causing me to feel relieved even though I was still quite sore, I managed to move. Once I was done and out of the shower, I took my robe and wore it before heading out. Grey was already sitting up as though he was waiting for me. His lower region was covered with the blanket. I still didn't understand what it was that had come over him the other day. I'd sincerely never been more terrified. He was the Alpha and whenever they reached a certain level of anger their dominant authority just wafts into the atmosphere. Tha

BLOOMI went to check up on Ray. Even though I knew Grey would oppose it if he knew, I couldn’t just sit back and do nothing, couldn’t pretend not to care about how Ray was feeling. He wasn’t in the gym so I checked the training arena, and sure enough, I found him there. He noticed me and immediately stopped hitting the punching bag. Beads of sweat fell down his face and neck, and that shouldn’t have looked good, but it did. He undid his gloves and tossed them on the ground before coming out from the ring. I just watched, not knowing what to say, only hoping that he was fine. He stopped right in front of me and waited.“Uh…”“He doesn’t want you to train with me anymore?” He asked and when I didn’t reply, he nodded in understanding. “I guessed as much,” he said, then turned and walked up to the table where he picked up a bottle of water and gulped down most of its contents.“I just came to say I’m really sorry for what happened yesterday.” I wished he would turn around and look at me

GREY'S POVWas it weird that I still worried about the things that were going to happen? It was my responsibility to protect the pack but even at times I was scared of what the outcome would be, I glanced at my mate, sound asleep before slipping out of my bed. To find a way to get this rogue I knew that I certainly had to align with the other packs. Sometimes I found myself wondering what next? Sometimes I felt stuck and unhappy even though I didn't know how to express myself to anyone. I went out to get some air but the atmosphere was certainly more tense than I expected, my senses were heightened and I could sense something fishy from the distance. I could hear the sound of footsteps and if I didn't know the sounds I would have thought it was a rogue, but of course I knew someone was leading a troop. By midnight, they were certainly up to something...I just knew it. I could smell them and the growl emanated from my throat. Someone stepped beside me and I knew it was Richmond. He'd

GREYSomeone was crying. Whoever it was, I knew it was because of me, so I tried to open my eyes to see what the matter was, but when I felt a wave of pain go through me, I held my breath and waited for the pain to subside for what seemed like an eternity. Then I tried again. This time, I was successful. Bloom. She sat in a chair beside me, her head in my hands as she sobbed. “Bloom?” My voice didn’t sound like me. It sounded gravely and thin. Her head lifted as she gasped. I saw the moment her expression changed from worry to relief. “Grey? You’re awake?” I gave her a small nod and didn’t say anything. I held her hand, and I knew she understood me. “What about the Pack? And everyone?”“They’re all safe. You defeated our worst enemies,” Bloom said and I nodded just as the memories of the battle flooded back to me. The pain of Orion’s clawing through me came back. I didn’t even realize how Orion’s presence had been weighing heavily on me, but now that he was gone, I was finally able

GREYCapturing the children and women while I was still here? What sort of a sick plan was that? It seemed like I’d been too easy on Orion for him to think he could get away with that. Well, he had another thing coming. “Are the weapons ready?” “Yes, Alpha!” My army of wolves chorused. I got up from where I was and led them toward Orion Pack. They planned to evade ours anyway, why shouldn’t we do the same to them? When we arrived, not only were Orion’s wolves waiting, but also the rogues. “You could have chosen to do this in a better way, you know that Alpha Orion? You just had to get on my nerves.” I looked at the wolves and they didn’t waste any time in lighting the Pack up. We were going to be exactly like the rogues this evening and no-fucking-body was going to stop us. “Do you think I’m going to give in?” Alpha Orion roared from his balcony, his eyes glowing red with rage. “We will fight back!” His wolves were taken aback by his sudden change in attitude, even the Pack members

BLOOMGrey and I followed after Ray to find out what he was talking about, and were met with a shocking scene. He led us into a room, and as he closed the door behind us. Other than a lamp on the table, it was completely dark. But that wasn’t the surprising part. That would be Angie tied to a chair. Turning sideways slightly to look at Grey, I thought, What plan did they have up their sleeves this time?“I just found out the truth,” Ray said. “The child in her womb isn’t yours, Alpha Grey, she has only been trying to get you to marry her.” It was a blatant lie but Ray had no idea we knew the truth. Where was he headed with this? I looked at him briefly before fixing my gaze back on Angie. What did they have up their sleeves now?“She lied about you getting her pregnant so her child can take ownership of your seat before anyone else’s,” Ray added, and while I already knew this, it didn’t stop me feeling angry. Leaning forward, I grabbed her jaw, looking her in the eyes. It was then I

GREY“You know who this letter is from, Grey. I gave you an option of leaving your Pack peacefully, I guess you have turned down my kindness. Now I have no choice but to show you what I can do. Need I remind you that before now I’ve known and watched you for years? It goes without saying that I know your moves, every single one of them. I’ll invade your Pack relentlessly. Take this letter as a warning of what is to come. You’ve been a thorn in my side right from the time I used to be under your command. I made plans I was sure would completely destroy you and your Pack. How you survived remains a miracle… No, I’m certain your pretty little mate helped you with that. I should have stabbed you harder that day in the forest. Anyways, as you might already know, Leo, Stephan, and I plotted your downfall with the help of the Alpha of Orion. He supported us, giving us the power we needed to destroy your Pack. Now, I won’t back down until you’re six feet below the earth, Grey, and this time

BLOOMAs I shared what I heard with Grey, he stared straight at the wall with an expression of fury. Who could blame him for that reaction when he just found out the woman who claimed to be carrying his child, a child he had been fully prepared to accept, was lying to him? And not just that, but the actual father happened to be his Beta, Ray. “I knew there was something off about him.”I sat next to him, placing my hand on top of his. “Please before handling this case, you need to first be calm.”He turned to me with an angry look, but I knew it wasn’t directed at me. “He’s trying to have you by all means. You don’t expect me to sit and watch.”“We have more pressing matters at hand, Grey. They might have plotted against you, but they’re not dumb to believe they don’t need you. Think about it. The issue of the rogues is still on the ground so they can’t act without thinking. They’ll have to wait for the right time,” I explained. “Let’s also be strategic. I understand how you feel. I a

BLOOMUpon getting back to the Pack with Grey, I had reached the top of the stairs when I heard a feminine exclamation and turned around to see Angie clinging to Grey like a damsel in distress. Grey’s face was pulled back as he looked at her with disdain. Physical touches in general made him uncomfortable, so to be touched by someone he didn’t like must feel highly unpleasant.“I’ve not been feeling good these days, and still, you don’t pay me any attention. Do you still not believe the child I’m carrying is yours?”My hands squeezed into fists by my side and I gritted my teeth as I watched Angie caress Grey’s arms while batting her eyelashes. I was about to walk down the stairs and pull her away from him when someone caught my arm. Looking back, I saw Rich shaking his head at me. He seemed to know that if I got close enough to her, I might kill her. I couldn’t stand watching her do that to him. Just as I wanted to pull out of Rich’s hold, a growl echoed in the air and everything wen

BLOOMThe next morning, Grey and I set out for Montrose Pack after receiving news of a rogue attack. Upon our arrival, I was shocked at the sight we met. The rogues' attack had completely brought down the place. They left nothing standing. They had left so many survivors. Tears filled my eyes as I looked around. While this place had never been a home to me, it was still where I grew up and spent most of my life in, so it left me feeling broken. As I got to the place where the Alpha’s mansion once stood, my vision became blurry with tears. Most of the building had been reduced to debris. Remembering that my father used to keep a diary, I shifted into my wolf and sniffed the ground, searching for the book in the ruins. I moved through the rubble in my wolf form, my heightened senses picking up on scents, most of them being my father’s. As my paws trod upon the scorched ground, I spotted a fragment of charred wood that was etched with familiar markings and knew it was a scorched corner

BLOOMMy mind was on Angie. There was no telling what she was up to, and as much as I wanted to keep an eye on her every moment, I didn’t have any time for that. My gaze returned back to my sleeping child. My precious daughter, my Angel who I wanted to protect. I reached out to touch her toes when the door opened and Grey walked in. The weariness on his face and his tousled hair all pointed to the fact that he’d been up all night, but somehow even with all that, he still managed to look so attractive. After kissing me on the lips, he put out a finger to touch our daughter’s face, before sitting next to me on the bed and resting his head on my lap. “Did you find anything out last night?” I asked as I ran my fingers slowly through his hair. “Hmm.” Grey nodded. “Ray got more information about the rogue camp, and it was just as I thought. It’s clear now that Lewis is the leader of the rogues. We can’t just sit back and watch without doing anything. We need to strategize a way to capture

Bloom's PovGrey looked like he was a second away from ripping her head off. I was very sure that was the exact look I had on my face as well. I had people behind me anyways, that stopped me from making any further movements towards her. Like what the fuck?! I glared at her and could just imagine throwing her to the wall without caring whether or not she had a child. But I had to control my urges before I did something I'd regret. My wolf growled in my head. I pushed her back so she wouldn't take control of my body. This fool was trying to get my man to look at her. And here I was doing nothing about it. I growled while the guards were ready to hold me when the need be. They knew I'd kill her without effort. She stayed there staring innocently like a damsel in distress. What the fuck was she even thinking. That she can take my place? As what exactly? The Luna?"Get the fuck out of this place Angie," Grey growled. Even his wolf threatened to show up if Grey did nothing about this. But
