They all turned their heads but there was a frown on Marcus face as he looked at the man.

“Young girl. You called us here so that we can help you but you know you're accused of working with rogues silently? Is this the attitude that you should be displaying?” The man asked angrily, making his fellow hold their breaths.

“Watch what you are saying and mind your tone,” Aiden said coldly as he glared at the man.

“Your majesty. It isn’t that I want to sound disrespectful but it seems your partner does not value this alliance that you wanted so badly,” the man said calmly. At a closer look, Elana saw mockery in his eyes, making her so angry.
