Andre finally stopped walking and he was right to have chosen this place. It was secluded and there was no guard or maid around.

“What’s going on?” I asked, breaking the silence as I raised an eyebrow at Andre. My mind drifted to the way Nikolai had looked at me before he left and I groaned.

“Oh my, I hope you’re not thinking I was doing something with Kieran because I swear I wasn’t.” I tried to defend myself before Andre could say anything.

“I trust you and no, I’d never think that, I’m not that shallow minded.” He assured me as he wrapped his arm on his chest.

“I don’t know what’s going on or what business Kieran wants with you but that guy is bad news and I want you to stay away from him.” He said firmly.

“I’m sorry if I come off like Nikolai but something about that Alpha isn’t right, something about him feels off.” He added.

“I know,” I quickly added with a groan, “I feel the same way too but then he keeps showing up everywhere, making it difficult for me to compl
